@brandon6pk actually, that's a lack of clutch grip from being stored....you don't go launching a car after storing it for months....you drive it, hard, on a twisty road, until the clutch is grabbing really well again, THEN you launch it. I find it difficult to believe that he fried the clutch on lack of power alone...my 1990 Civic Si, BEFORE I tuned it (slightly) for rally racing, was able to chirp the tires in 3rd gear, and spin the hell outta them in 1st & second, and it only had 108 hp.
