  • Getting ready to move horses! We need: donations for food / hay financial support for: vet services (shots, tests, and gelding 1 stud (130 - 200)

We are going to wait and see what a vet says about the mare with the bad leg, we also need a home for 1 stud. There is no sickness in him that we can tell, his weight is good, he will need vetted, but should be fine for a while. We would like to adopt him out as opposed to fostering him.

  • Thank you for the update....and you are right, I am sure that there are many more cases that no one is aware of. Very sad....

  • We are waiting for permission from the estate to remove the horses from the property. I would be willing to bet there are more cases like this that the authorities are ignoring. This is not unique. That is the true injustice.

  • It is my understanding that these horses are being checked by a vet and a blacksmith, and that the proper people have been notified. I spoke with the sheriff of Abbeville County and he assured me that this matter will not go unresolved.

  • Yes that is true - they have been checked by a vet and declared healthy..... do they look healthy to you? And the matter has gone unresolved for 2-3 years now. It is also important to mention that the skinny mare with the halter were removed from the property.... by their owner i assume, and thats good, i just hope they feed her and take care of her. They will now likely have 3 horses to take care of. They couldn't handle 1 before.

  • freakin' sick politicians.

  • how do I reach you?
