Yes - the solid-state amp is built-in in the H&K Metal master preamp. So, this small preamp has cascade-type distoortion and this cool option - 5W output (solid state). This way you can plug it to an external speaker (as I did) and get maximum power of 5 W. On this video I only use the speaker of the Fender Acoustasonics amp, that's why you are confused.
