Hey Nimba, how does one avoid the 'chaulky' look with painting gelatin.. or i guess a better question is how do you bring back the natural shine of the piece?

@Tomcreature Colouring correctly will help avoid a chalky look (don't use just white or black) but if you are trying to give a 'moist' look we also sell 'sweat in a bottle' which can be sponged or spattered into the finished make up to give a 'fevered' look (our bottled sweat doesn't dry out and so stays looking wet all day).

Great job, guy. Amazing! I am trying to improve on zombie makeup design, but sometimes am under different time constraints for certain jobs. Approximately how long does it take to do this appliance from start to finish, with the level of detail that you used? It would help a LOT to know what kind of time frame to expect.
