@tosh541 just to clarify. i had my character in MHF 2 ported in 2nd G and i started 2nd G with the 1st page of the awards nearly completed(just missing the king size and mini size). and been playing most of the time with my friends. hunting mats and not just playing around.

as i always say, the weapon type i used depends on which monster i'll be hunting :)

Wow, I usually just stick with gunlances and change the element depending on the monster.

that will do.. but i find some monsters easier to kill with a certain type of weapon... like hammer for rathalos/rathian, GS for tigrex, DS for akantor and uca, bow for fatalis, etc :)
