  • there is old sayin' in my country ,,grāmatas uz skolu es būšu teicamnieks, lai māmiņai, tēvam un tēvzemei būtu prieks,, in english it souds somethin' like this ,,books to school I'll be the greatest for mother, father and fatherland so they would be proud,,

in that sayin' misses one person - your self, and fatherland don't gives a s*** what you want to achieve and not mother, not father needs it, only to your self and if you want it, then work on it, and then you'll be one of those 3 guys ;)

  • @evostar1992 cool man

  • 2999 of those players that didnt make pro spend all their time on video games and parties instead of working on their game

  • @PepsiDude97 google search

  • It was Will Smith who said "Why should you have a plan B... it only distracts from plan A. If you want to do anything or become anyone just decide that that's who your gona be. Just Decide. Once you've made that decision it's done, you're already there... now you just gotta wait for everyone else to catch up with you." I think Fresh Prince and Dre all Day are speaking the same shit. Thanks for the motivational videos Dre!

Ive fout about starting training b-bal from your videos and after i watched this video im not sure if i should... don;t get me wrong u are awsome and yo trainin is good but should i.... am i good enough... i am 14 6.0 SG/SF/PF [mostly SF] 75 kg... i ain no fast runner and i ain no high jumpa.... but still can you plz say if i should never give up on my dream i try playin colege ball or should i jus give up... plz answer Thx. ;D

    P.S I Am from Lithuania [Basketball's country ;D]

  • hey man my name xavier and i know i'm good enought to start and i've beaten some of the staring 5 on my neighborhood basketball team and i have a well respected basketball mentor wat do you suggest i do that other players often don't to give me an edge against the average player i might play in high school.. and do u think my chances of starting are smaller since i did'nt play ball my freshman year

  • @xaviaj2 i dont tell ppl what they should do; u gotta decide for urself. ask ur coach if u wanna know aht ur chances are for the team

  • @xaviaj2 Just I want to say u 1 thing you are pobably very good if u won some of starting 5 but its not everything about 1 on 1 ... there u play 5 on 5 u need to be good teammate your coash knows waht he is doing in a while when u get better "teammate" if u know what i mean ...

  • Alright yes 1000 high school players play basketball and only one makes it but you have to think, some of them dont wanna put the work in. You can do anything if you work at it,also did i mention that some of the high school players might not wanna play basketball any further so i have narrowed it down. That much quickly.

  • @tekknking thx for watchin

  • Think of it as motivation for you to try harder and never think you are good enough. You have to think on the national level when you play basketball, not just the local level where you play against the "weekend warriors" Thanks for telling me all of this dre :{D

  • @mrbeta2500 exactly. thx for watching

  • hey dre speaking of running 2 miles, if i do get up in the morning everyday and run for like 30 minutes, what will that make me like stronger or what?

  • @NesiPk1 if u wanna get stronger u do strength training. running is for legs and conditioning/ stamina.

  • @dreupt doesn't running also exercise your abs?

  • @NesiPk1 somewhat i guess. ask an exercise specialist.

  • @NesiPk1 Yes it does. As a matter of fact I've heard personal trainers on several occasions say fuck crunches. Running works out the core much better and naturally. They seriously run though.

My personal trainer a few months ago even told me he doesn't waste his time with crunches. He only does leg lifts and other exercises that give full extension during a rep.

Key here is you don't want muscle isolation. You want to work out your core in realistic movements... like running and what not.

  • good message!!!

  • @Khmerrttkk2 thanks!

  • Hey are you trying to make any nba team or any other league team?

  • watch m other vids, i discuss this. adn read my site

  • i seen NBA players that DON't deserve to play pro's (i watch the NBA to much lol) You always have to think positive...dont let other ppl take you down...IF YOUR A PERSON DEDICATED TO end up in the PRO'S.you have to work HARDER than any other person in this world!!

  • well said

  • first of all good video dre for showing us the truth...i always hear the same story again, again, again, again, about not making it to the pro's but let me tell you something...i seen impossible shyt in my life...IF YOU A PERSON THAT TRAINS HARD AND PUT YOUR HEAD TO THE GAME like for an example dre...YOU CAN do it!!numbers for me are shyt! If your a player dedicated to play hard and fix your errors and keep practicing u dont need to worry about % making it 2 the NBA...
