There is many bass techniques which requires a pick, so that ain't true.

This is my favorite "My Hero" cover on YouTube. I love the little guitar solo coming out of the interlude. Did you use delay/flange/chorus for effect? I also like the strength of your vocals coming out of the interlude, very well done. My only complaint is your use of wrong lyrics at about 1:21. The correct lyrics are "Truth or consequence, say it aloud". I too hope to cover this live, if I could only sing as well as you, it'll be awesome.
