How all other problems ,after falling in love, were not enough that now this prise rise is killing me (symbolically). How everything(heartbeat etc)was fine till she was not in love but once her eyes met with her lover all the aftereffects of love has surrounded her and over that this Mehangi/prise rise is getting unberable .How its getting difficult to manage love in this day and time.In hindi/urdu poetry love is often equated with khuda ki kudai as it comes with too much to handle.overwhelming
@Afg This movie was based on social issues concerning working/peasant class woven around a love story, no surprise here!! It’s really hard to translate the song word by word as it will not make much sense but the backdrop/feel is as following.
Once upon a time, films were made to hiighlight present day issues, which were deep in meaning and had some lovely songs, which has still not lost its fragrance. What we have today is a precooked mixture of fast-food pulled out from the Microwave before half time, and that too in huge quantity. Now, this is bound to get lost, as it is tasteless and undigestive.
@tuffuptube You are right. Now a days, they go to USA for stories, shoot there, and they hardly speak hindi... so where do you get the Indian flavour?? Poetry is missing in hindi films.
What ever was left, was gobbled by the Inflation...Thus went this song,Many decades Back....What about Indian Citizen's current dilemma of high expenses...and less earnings.Friends,Pl. tell which song befits to explain Dilemma of it's 92% population >>>.
@oneindiastrongindia its the same all over the world for the poor, even here in the UK. Poor people suffer in every country around the world. this film is a great lesson for all.

@pyasadil dear that's the irony, they speak english and write hindi songs, how can you do justice with that upbringing. poetry is dead, prose is in.
