And I have not seen my mother in ten years. For me God has saved me from so many things. From my addiction to drugs to server depression. I could certainly understand how the thought of a god or of jesus could be a source of inspiration to allow a person to get through some rough times, but the same inspiration could be drawn from any other fictional character. God created all things, that's includes all the evil that exist.
Evil must be a part of the plan. Without evil, Jesus's existence doesn't have a purpose. No need for a saviour if there is nothing requiring a saviour.
Sin/evil requires a saviour, Jesus has always been that. Evil was always in the plan of things.

@MsPrincessCaroline Do you need to ask me that question? There are plenty of times when killing is necessary/ok. If someone is threatening your family's lives or your life. Terrorists should be killed. Racist/oppressive dictators should be killed.
In any of those situations, I wouldn't have a problem killing.
If I was a South Korean, I would want to kill Kim Jong-IL.

The thing about christianity is you can't have your own opinion, it's a pre-concieved set of beliefs that you cannot alter or delineate from. Real christians (the ones who believe in the literal bible and believe everyone else deserves hell) are evil.

Atheist don't go to hell because they're so evil. All have sinned. Atheist go to hell because they didn't let Jesus wash their sins away. Sin is not allowed in Heaven, and unless you get have your sins blotted out, you can't go. There are plenty "churchfolk" who haven't had their sins washed away as well, and they too will go to hell.

@wuphat You couldn't be further from the truth. When we have that personal relationship with God, we know truth.We know He's the real deal. Hell exist. You don't go there coz you're so evil. Although we all are. But you go there coz you didn't go to Jesus to have your sins washed away. Sin is not allowed in Heaven. God won't let sin contaminate such a perfect place. Get washed, and get into heaven. It's that simple.

@wuphat. I know it is not just some fairy tail. It has been the only thing that has given me hope in a world full of atheists. My dad is an atheist and hates me for being a christian so much . And I have not seen my mother in ten years. For me God has saved me from so many things. From my addiction to drugs to server depression. Without knowing Jesus and what he has done for me I would have committed suicide five years ago. Just something to chew on.....

@geoboyer I would argue that you saved yourself from whatever you feel saved. I could certainly understand how the thought of a god or of jesus could be a source of inspiration to allow a person to get through some rough times, but the same inspiration could be drawn from any other fictional character. For example, we tell children about "The Little Engine That Could" to teach them not to give up easily, but that doesn't make TLETC real. The same can be said for bible tales.
