@mattb0yer - A higher caloric intake is needed so enough calories and proper macro nutrients available to recover from workouts but also to have quality fuel for intense workouts. The good thing about these is they are so much better for you than store bought waffles that are packed with stuff you don't want. Plus, they are kinda low to moderate in carbs making them an awesome start to many different dieting needs. Glad you love them!
