Here's the thing.. the croud was easily impressed as a baby with a bunch of car keys. although he has only played only one year, he did ok, but the judges gave gim way too much credit for the very little that he did. This song is not challenging at all. I agree with most ppl here, he really should have don something that takes more skill. For example jazz is limb independence, for metal its the speed and accuracy with many notes, for reggae well i cant tell you cause i dont listen to reggae, and so the list goes on. A metal drummer cant be a jazz drummer, and a jazz drummer cant be a metal drummer.

He actually felt the music, and understood how to play with that track. Drum solos are all well and good if you're a drummer or in your own practice rooms, but; shock horror, the vast vast majority of people don't want to hear drum solos.

He did an awesome job in a hugely nervewracking situation. He smiled, felt the track and has obviously worked hard to get where he is.
