But Stephanie Meyers' way to kill a vampire is different than in Buffy the vampire slayer. Correct me if I'm wrong, but in Buffy, doesn't see use the traditional wood spike? In Twilight, you have to rip them apart and burn the pieces. Unless she has super strength, surely it would be very hard?

Buffy has killed a God(one of the meanest and strongest ones), an ancient demon(that no human weapons can kill), The first evil(come on! hands down), Willow(one of the most deadliest witches alive compared to the charmed ones),

I love Buffy, and totally believe she would destroy Edward, but to be totally correct, Buffy killed The Master and The Judge. Angel was still alive when she sent him to hell. Giles blew up the Mayor. Buffy killed Adam with power channeled through Giles, Will, and Xander. Giles killed Glory. Xander defeated Willow, and Spike brought the hellmouth down, not killing, but ending The First's plan to become all fleshy and destroy the world. Team Cullen vs. Team Buffy. Team Buffy wins.
