i have been there last summer and it was great. i recommend people not to fly there because all the fun is on the way to leh and you don't want to miss that.

It's not Pakistan, it's in Ladakh (Indian Himalaya) although very close to Pakistan & Tibet borders. This road and passes are on the way from Manali (Himachal Pradesh) to Leh, Ladakh main city which is located at 3700 m.
