This was in Florida, the gentleman is a Ex-Marine. I am a nuisance trapper in central Florida. These cats populations are dense here, they are about 22 inches tall, and can weigh 15 to 30lbs. The B&C record Bobcat was 38lbs. They can bring down prey 8 times their size, even deer. They are nasty tempered with a nasty growl. They can easily kill a small person or child. I trap'em all the time for killing neighborhood pets, this one was rabid which is much worse.
