  • My Mother as well played Ray Coniff Christmas records for nearly two months every single year. I believe she still does. She still has her phonographic stereo. Had to replace many needles over the years. But it surely was worth it. I am now 53 years of age. I am glad she played for us all these years. Bless her heart and others all around.

  • hi!what a wonderfull christmas carol

its verry nice to heard youre song,

a stone heart, still feel a solemn love to.

  • I am impressed with these groups of crooners and female singers, nothing like them around today singing like this! Whenever I go to the stores to buy a christmas cds, heck they don't come close to these style of christmas. The new artist of today is somehow untraditional with their songs and it sounds like so bubblegum.Ray Conniffs christmas is so yuletide and pure and it's just nothing like this type of group to chime in the season's bells!

  • I was certain Ray Conniff had been with a master of music. Checked it out and found out he was with the great Artie Shaw. Artie is recognized as the father of modern orchestration with his Begin The Beguinne song. Many do not know how clever Ray is using his singers in the most unique fashions. They became another musical instrument in the Ray Conniff style. His music will be listened to for years to come.

  • Beautiful!! One of the best renditions I've heard.

  • i am a latin american i am sorry if i wrritte bad some word, today that i have the big opportunity to hear this song and to meet the ray conniff coro and i am fasinated for this precission that the sound is beatifull to hear this quality aboud this coro

  • Just like they are a collection of ANGELS in HEAVEN rejoicing the NATIVITY. This song reverberates to the core of our hearts. and most of the time....they bring me to tears. HALLELUJAH , THOU has redeemed us. MY MOM used to play these songs from OCTOBER and CHRISTMAS SPIRIT was at every corner . MERRY CHRISTMAS DAD/MOM. I wish YOU are both here with me. I MISS YOU (BOTH) very muchhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

  • @MariaIsabellaVanessa

I love what you wrote about Mum and Dad who you miss so much. They will always be with you in one way or the other and enjoy Rays music because it reminds you of happy times when the world was so simple and people were much more friendly. Love Mom and Dad always.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,

  • This is the kind of music I always listen during the Christmas season and even during the two months before that season comes. And as one of the lyrics says you can really feel "in the air there´s a feeling of Christmas" when you listen to this beautiful music. I must say little people know Ray Conniff's work in the country I live in but those whom do enjoy it so much, just the way I do.

Thanks again to who uploaded this and since now, Merry Christmas to all of you.

  • The best rendition of a christmas song, you can really feel that christmas is in the air by just listening to their music.

  • bravo!i'm a fan too for so many years in pi&us.

  • As shown by Ray himself on this video, Ray Conniff's music is so beautiful it's beyond borders. I grew up close to Mexico city and my dad loved RC. We spoke no English back then, but he was one of the artists that inspired me to grow up and learn English so I could become an Interpreter, and like Ray Conniff's dream, I was blessed to have my dream come true.

Blessing to Ray Conniff in heaven and his team members and family wherever they may be!!!

  • The singers were paired up.

My mother is wearing a pink sweater with a bouffant hairstyle.

Watch the RC "Let it snow" "Count your Blessings" video she is sitting at the fireplace.

    Thanks - Mark

  • @w5txrmark

Thanks, Mark. Your mom looks like the youngest singer in the group at that time.

BTW, It's cool that your family still has the rug ; )

  • Your mother and the other lady singers are so pretty. I'm 46 and I love the Ray Conniff Singers - their music is so beautiful, I prefer them over today's music.

  • classic!

  • My mother was one of the RC singers.

I was at this show when I was 8. Taped at Lake Arrowhead, CA for syndication. Don't feel sorry for the bear!

My parents have the bear rug from the show.

  • @w5txrmark

Were there actual couples singing together in this video, or did they just pair them up for appearances? BTW, which one is your mom? Just curious : )

  • Merry Christmas every one!......God Bless us all...also to are Men in Iraq...!

  • This is amazing. My dad used to blast his Ray Conniff albums as loud as his silver Realistic amp and Reel to Reel tapes could go. I absolutely love these albums - they inspired me as a child to listen to great quality music. These guys are a bit campy, but you can't argue the talent.

  • Lovely singing, fun Donna Reed era memories, but did anyone else feel sorry for the bear?

  • Wonderful medley of Christmas songs and a lot of fun. Yes, I felt sorry for the bear as well.

  • love it !!!!!!!!

  • realy

  • I salute to the Ray Conniff and the singers.. The best Christmas song performer.. thank for uploading it. Greetings from the Philippines.

  • Awesome childhood memories. I feel like I'm four again :)

  • The Ray Conniff Singers are well-loved by Filipinos. I truly believed that they inspired music loving Filipinos to excel in international choral competition...to name a few champions..the Philippine Madrigal Singers, The University of Sto. Tomas Singing Ambassadors, The Ateneo Glee Club, The University of the East and many other groups.

  • Great childhood Christmas memories of this entire album. Merry Christmas!

For me it was "for all we know (we shall never meet again)"

  • What can we say about these singers? They do not need any orchestra. Simply divine!

    Alce 2008

  • Me encanta, sobre todo "O Holly Night". No hace falta que sea Navidad para que me harte de escucharla. God bless Ray.

Now that were grown ups, each of us have these copies to share to our kids, and hopefully, they'll share to their kids and so on. Thanks for sharing

I remember watching this Ray Conniff Christmas Special on one of the 3 networks back when I was a young teen. Whereever did you find this clip?

Thanks for posting. Merry Christmas, and a Happy, Peaceful, Prosperous and Blessed New Year to all.

  • Thank you so much for posting this. The best of the best

  • This is the absolute best. I grew up in the 60's with this. We decorated our tree listening to the Conniff albums. I am *amazed* at the amount of people who grew up with the Conniff albums. It just wouldn't be Christmas w/o them in our home. Thank you, Manfred!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS, ALL!!!!!!!!!

  • Grew up on this record and my kids will do the same. This is Christmas to me!!!

  • Dearest,

Thank you for posting this delightful present. What a gift from Heaven! I really do not understand why these Ray Conniff Singers videos are not launched on DVD by COLUMBIA RECORDS. We are sick and tired of listening to people who shout. This would be a wonderful opportunity for The Ray Conniff Singers to teach them how to do so and prove that they did not sing "easy listening" songs or elevator music. They sang with schooling, something they have not got, sorry ....

    Alce 2008

  • Nothing beats this for Christmas,,RWB

  • Certainly makes me miss my mother who passed away in 2003. She had their album and we always listened to it while we decorated the Christmas tree. Such simple times. Oh how I miss them!
