  • @julianbonser - Retro-futurism at it's finest! Can you post the whole movie?

  • @Janizzary - Sorry for the delay in responding, I've been away. It's not really practical to post the complete movie. However, you can get it on DVD from Amazon.com. It's a quirky flick with many entertaining highlights.

  • Thank you for posting this!!!

I am doing a final paper on the evolution of the science-fiction film score-- do you know how hard it is to get film or sound clips from this movie?! Thank you!!

  • She's the Cindy Lauper from the alternative future.

  • This is Frank Albertson and Margaret White performing (It is Lyman's Band)

White's last film was the Stooges Short "Women Haters" in 1934, she died as the result of an Automobile Accident three weeks after filming. Albertson continued his carreer well into the 1960's. One of his last roles was in Hitchcock's "Psycho" as the Tycoon buying his "Baby Girl" a house for $40,000.Frank also had an brother for an actor; Jack (Chico and athe Man" Albertson.

  • I love the McKinney's Cotton Pickers and Abe Lyman recordings of same. It's nice to hear the full lyrics in this, both verses and chorus. I think the band is Abe Lyman. Very similar arrangement to his recording. Thanks for posting this video.

  • Yet another prediction for 1980: Singing Eunuchs.

  • Say, didn't Jim Kweskin and his Jug Band cover this song back in the Sixties?

  • This is awesome, I always thought Jim Kweskin wrote it! Set straight after 45 years.

  • It's on his Greatest Hits CD. My band, the Ladies Auxiliary Ukulele Orchestra covers it, inspired by Kweskin. Way cool tune - Bernice Lewis

  • Completely wacky, ridiculous, and deliciously camp even for its time love it

  • Science Fiction and Musical Comedy.
