  • Brilliant, I had no idea this was available on YouTube.

  • This is a film the blind can enjoy, without the vision, it feels like an old time radio drama

  • L.A. Noire Brought Me Here

  • 2:27 The main foyer of the fabulous "Roxy" theatre - New York lost it's soul when all those great movie palaces were destroyed, Times Square area today is nothing but a name perpetuating a memory of a magical city long since gone.

  • Does anyone know how I can get an MP3 audio sample from this film? I'm particularly interested in acquiring the narration from 0:40 - 1:40. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

  • @bosman1988 in the link at the top, before 'youtube' write pwn, then it will direct you to deturl.com which converts any youtube video into an mp3 file, go down the page and you will see - youtube mp3 - click on that, then a new tab will open and then it will convert the video to mp3, and then click download, after i dont know how to edit it. :)

  • @TheImmortal4190 Huh? I was just quoting from the Mystery Science Theater 3000 movie.

  • 0:08 Doesn't the fact that it's universal make it international?

  • @Calriec Mystery Science Theater 3000 huh?

  • This movie with commentary is also very good and interesting.

  • DELIVERY OF MILK BY HORSE !

  • you want to see what NYC looked like in the late 40's, you watch this movie.

  • A true classic! Thanks for the up-load.

  • Let's begin our story this way.. it's one o'clock in the morning on a hot summer night and this is the face of new york as it's asleep, as nearly asleep as any city ever is.

  • The film is very good. But the narration is utterly annoying, just shut up!!!!!!!!!

  • @HAZIDEAD The narrator was Mark Hellinger.. He died shortly after filming was complered in 1947 so he never lived to see it. He has a typical NY accent which fit in perfect for this film.

  • @mmcckkgg

How true. Poor Mr Hellinger had a heart condition which eventually led to his death from a massive hear attacko. Poor fellow. His films are proof positive that he was a truly gifted producer. What a tragedy he left us so soon! :(

  • so os howard duff in this part of this movie

  • Thanks for posting this. What a nice piece of screen writing, direction, and editing. It covered a lot of ground. I never saw this before but remember the TV show as a kid.

  • Thank you sir...I have been dying to see this film for years. Hopefully It will be in its entirety because I just wasted a ton.of time with some idiot who uploaded "Double Indemnity: and left out the whole last 40 minutes of it so I was screwed!!

    Thanks again!

  • You can watch Maltese Falcon, The Killers and Elevator to the Gallows from beginning to end.

Thank you for posting these film!

  • @superjdt What on youtube!

  • @tegrimm You could rented Double Indemnity and not have relied on someone violating copyright by illegally uploading it to YouTube.
