  • A supeb version here !!!! Cliff was better in the early days than people think !

  • Still waiting for this to be issued on CD......

  • Jimmy Page on harmonica.

  • Gene Pitney, I believe, recorded the 1st version of this tune and Hyland's version uses the same backing track.

  • This is one of my favourite ( but lesser known tracks ) of Cliff's ... thank you for sharing this with us !! :-)

  • tema excelente de mediados de los 60's. muy buena interpretacion, de CLIFF y THE SHADOWS. tema 10.

  • Well I never knew Cliff sang this.

  • "Sherman's been in our town..." Sherman's advisor and Sherman's son were both jesuits. That is why they exterminated so many protestants. The inquisition did not end -- it only went underground.

  • Only the enemy of God will say that "everythin is right, nothin is wron"

  • yeah!

  • This song gives me goosebumps... nearly cried... don't know what makes me so sad? sigh...

loved the sound of his voice in those days... although I still love his unique mature voice.

  • Cliff's version of the song really very good. I've never heard the original version by Brian Hyland because I was too young when it was released and I didn't live in the U.S.

  • cliff's version is better than brian hyland

  • Yeah, I realize that Cliff's version of the song is better than Brian Hyland's version. I bought a CD called "Brian Hyland-Greatest Hits" and heard Brian's version of the song. Cliff has faded from popularity and isn't popular with young music fans in the UK (below age 30) according to what I've read. I think his music should be appreciated by all generations of music fans.

  • Absolutely!

  • I'm amazed that Cliff Richard even knew about this song - a minor hit for Brian Hyland - and even more amazed that he would record it. His version of it is terrific.

  • Yes, it is. Much better than the A-side, The Twelfth of Never.

  • Shame Norrie Paramor liked the ballads so much,if it wasn't for his daughter we'd have been stuck with the dross on the other side of Move it!!Sorry Cliff it had to be said!?

  • Great version. Brian Hyland's version is also very good.
