I would really like to see a story about the forces of Chaos. I loved all the small peaks into the world of a Chaos or Renegade army from Gaunt's Ghosts series and others and I'd really like to see more. Maybe something with the Alpha Legion or some other cultist utilizing or infiltrator legion.
You didn't expect to kill off Caff??? wasn't so bothered about him... but WHY VEN???? And it's not like we get to read first hand how he goes down either... we hear a "confirmed" report from Landerson about it!!!!!!

@SpartanMikey All I'm going to say: Re-read the book where MkVenner dies, and pay CLOSE attention to the Nightgane and Mkoll leaving the camp. This is important.
@VorAbaddon Oh I have done, more than once, it's just that the way he was explained to be dead was very iffy in my eyes... it's obvious that he isn't and has simply taken a leaf from Batmans book... "become a legend and they'll always fear you". For him to return during "The Victory" is implausable at best. So how about it Dan?? I wanna see a Ven spin off novel showing the before, durings, and aftermath of his "Death"... pleeeeeaaase
i think dan kills off the characters because hes a messed up human being and it fits the story line lol. you cant have mortal human beings in a universe like warhammer 40k lol and not get killed. if i could choose i would not have killed corbec lol. that hit me a bit hard considering he was one of the main guys, and he seemed so indestructable sorry for spelling :P but that just complements how good of a writer dan is. personally hes been a favorite since i was 12 years old. keep it up dan :)
Bragg's death saddened me greatly, because I loved the character. But I think I was more upset when Caffran died, probably because of the way he died. :(
@Illuminatus42 i can admit, wen corbec died i was actually refusing to believe it. i read the chapter three times in order to confirm it :( but i agree with u, caffaran's was just pure cruelty.
@BobbyMan21 he died on the liberation of gereon when he found a scared boy with a gun after the main fighting of a city, and tried to calm him down, but that kid was too afraid and fired point blank at him...that was so sad...
nayl vs. mkvenner? i don't think there would even be a fight, the building they were in, or even the planet for that matter, would just explode because that level of awesome cannot be contained in one room.

When i was reading about the Ouranberg special drop teams, and Mkoll's ship blew in mid air, i embarasingly shouted out "MKOLL" in the middle of an extremely packed bus, and got laughs and crazy stares back.
I can't say that I shouted anything at that point. In fact I had to go back and see exactly who was on that flight.....it wasn't until much letter that I made any sort of verbal remark and that was 'Bloody hell!'
There was more to that, but I won't say for spoilers....but needless to say, I was surprised.
lol i did the same many a time in different parts of the book. when guant disapears in "Only in Death" i was like "NOOOO" and i cant remember which part. but i shouted out "NO..LARKS NO" in the middle of my school sixth form and i got some right stares lol.
Have you read the whole series of Gaunts Ghosts so far? Your REALLY shouldnt be watching interviews with Dan Abnett on Gaunts Ghosts if you havent. You probably will hear spoilers.
I've read them all (The Lost twice), including The Iron Star and I got to listen to Mr. Abnett narrating a couple of chapters of Blood Pact while at Black Library Live!
