Not the best thing since sliced bread, but its solid. This song was NOT meant to be turned into a smooth jazz cover. SWING on the other hand...that has the tempo. Changing the tempo was my biggest issue, less so than the shift in sound.
I'm reminded of the Shinra Shuffle, a Jazz take on the ff7 boss song (which was metal and a fairly fast tempo). If you haven't heard it already, take a trip to OCremix.
This was fantastic. As a true fan of The Protomen and a lover of learning their music I could've never done this kind of arrangement. I love this entirely.
