i sort of agree and sort of don't. They are too different to compare i think. Branden brings a since of control to jack and seems to tame him a bit, so the styles are slightly different.

There are some really really good raconteurs songs, just as there are really good white stripes songs. There are also some raconteurs songs that just don't do anything for me.  With that said, there aren't as many white stripes songs that are like that. Jack white really is my favorite modern musician.
