  • Please join our facebook group AGAG (African Grey Action Group) We are trying to stop the slaughter and abuse of the wild-caught African Grey trade into south Africa. 700 African Greys (now called the Durban 700) died on Christmas eve on a flight between Johannesburg and Durban after they've been cruelly removed from their wild homes.

  • @4zebird wow thats a lot of hits u're trying to get for a parrot's blog. I think they're talking about the famous Einstein parrot(in description u say this isn't the famous one) Is the one from animal planet dead?

  • @Squirmoid you fu*king troll...

  • @Squirmoid no its stunned

  • @Squirmoid You sold me a dead parrot!

  • @samsungfreakk old for a parrot is what we as humans would consider old. most parrots have a lifespan around the same as ours, some longer

  • @samsungfreakk that was Alex that died

  • @samsungfreakk you herd right but it was not this one he was alex he was more intelligent then Einstein he was a silver parrot too but he got old

  • @samsungfreakk They can live up to 60-90 years of age

  • Einstein is adorable, amazing !

  • omg i love einstein you are soo lucky to have her ..!

  • Does Einstein prefer her own vocal tonality or is she taking after someone?

  • Very cool. It's all repetition. Usually, by the time a bird learns to say something, you're sick of hearing it! You just make the bird part of your family and teach it words the same way you'd teach a child. Be consistent.

Do NOT get a bird for the entertainment. The novelty wears off then the bird gets neglected. That isn't fair to the bird. If you want a pet for entertainment, get a bunch of colorful fish. We have 8 birds and they all come out at night for "play time".

  • woowwww :OO coooll!!! :D 'yea yeaa' x x

  • I wonder what the fuck the birds at the bird store are plotting if they can suddenly talk 0_o did not know birds could speak a whole sentence and shit

  • aww

  • It's both creepy and fascinating how human their voices sound o_0

  • LMAO!? Is that cool!!! :D :D :D Such a cute talented birdie!

  • I think Einstein is shy with the camera

  • hahah the bird sounds a little bit like Dustin Hoffman in rainman

  • pish

  • Hi, I've got an african grey too... about 6 years old... talks about 20 words including small sentences... is that good enough for his age?? Also, how do you train einstein?? It would be great help if you could respond and help me out with training my bird...

  • Happy birthday to Einstein, this is her birthday month, can you take a movie of her and her birthday cake? that would be so cool. Thanks.

  • i lost 11 seconds of my life

  • @POIULKJ1000 and you lost 11 more by typing this comment!

  • @POIULKJ1000

And you wasted another 11 with your irrelevant reply. No go back to your X-Box before mommy catches you on the computer.

  • isnt this the parrot that went on tv with the space ship and lazers lol

  • that was adorable

  • I hav a green cheek conure but it'snearly impossible to get her to say anyting let alone kepp saying it.. Any advice? oh and I love Einstein! :)

  • do u make a lot of money off einstein and how old is the bird

  • She will be 13 in June. We don't make any money on Einstein. She is our pet and is a expense just as any other pet would be. ( food, toys, vet care.)

  • @4zebird lol my birthday is the 13th oh june :)

  • @4zebird --- I gotta start filming Molly my Grey...she is smart, and funny, one cnanot help but want to share her antics with the world. I love the grey videos

  • @4zebird @4zebird --- I gotta start filming Molly my Grey...she is smart, and funny, one cnanot help but want to share her antics with the world. I love the grey videos

  • @4zebird just a baby by african grey terms. I love greys their so smart.

  • how cute...!!! yeah, I would love to have a parrot but ONLY when i am 100% SURE I can commit to him.

  • lol i want a parrot so damn bad now lol how hard are they to train and care for ?

  • Is raising and caring for a child hard? Well, it's about the same amount of work. It's like having a 2 year old for the rest of your life. It is a commitment which should not be taken lightly.

  • @4zebird not to mention you have to provide a healthy and constantly interesting environment to keep their attention and keep them engaged. It just takes a lot of dedication... and more importantly, you HAVE to have the money available to care for a bird. Vet trips and bills... etc... so yes, 4zebird is correct, it's like having a kid!

  • or having a 2 year old for about 2 weeks after it poofs and dies

  • I think the reason the bird mixes the two songs is because there is a similarity in "shake" and "shook" and maybe it thinks it's the same song

  • The end is the best part - "Yeeeahhhh!"

  • He he, I love it

  • I like Einstein's version of those songs more than Elvis.' True, Elvis made them famous, and sang/performed them well, but Einstein's rendition has a bit more flair and style. Way to go Einstein!

  • Thats so damn crazy, it doesn't just sound like he imitates a pronouncation but rather that hes actually adding emphasis to the word

  • No it isn't.

  • Did you ever hear a speaking parrot?

  • yes

  • Comment removed

  • @ kingsac124

  • HA HA HA! SO funny and cute. Einstein is one of the most amazing parrot in the world( except for Riley the amazing talking eclectus parrot) but still very nice!

  • ha ha ha ha my parakeet is named elvis

  • LOL

  • Too funny.

  • Hee, hee... We taught my sister's grey to sing Beethoven's Fifth (see "Grey Parrot Bidule Sings Beethoven's 5th" on my channel), but I guess we would have had better success with Presley!

  • lol! when i first heard her say that, i thought she was saying 'shook up!' lol so cute`! im hoping to get a grey for Xmas. i hope my parent say yes!

  • Shake, rattle & roll is was written by Jesse Stone and first recorded by Big Joe Turner. Doesn't really have anything to do with Elvis.

  • You are correct! However, Elvis Presley recorded the song twice. In 1955, for Sun Records and in 1956 single for RCA Victor. Both versions by Elvis used Turner's original lyrics. (This information is from Wikipedia.)

  • I thought shake rattle and roll was bill haley

  • bufantas the bird knows best

  • LOL!

  • get her on x factor...she is better than half of the contestants lol. She is brill! x

  • maybe she was repeting what an alien said the night before when he visited your home while YOU were sleepin'!!

    or maybe you're right...

  • LOL

  • Hahah I love the "yeaaahhhhh"

  • What's she singing?

  • She's singing a combination of 2 songs by Elvis. "Shake, Rattle, & Roll" and "I'm all Shook Up". She came up with this combination on her own. She won't sing the songs individually. She prefers this rendition.

  • damn smart bird

  • May be she was trying to talk to you!
