@bigtimeconcepts Personally, I prefer the studio version, but I think it would be hard to recreate that kind of intensity live, especially with all the weird "voice-as-instrument" samples. That, and the violin adds a nice touch to this.
I have seen Foetus twice...once as Foetus Inc. in Minneapolis at 1st Avenue (1990...for that particular show it was Clint Ruin backed by SWANS members Norman Westberg on guitar, Algis Kizys on bass, Ted Parsons on drums and ROLI MOSIMAN on sounds/samples...unforgettable show!!!). I also saw Foetus six or seven years later at a small club in downtown Chicago with the same backing band with two exceptions: different drummer (I don't remember who it was) and HAHN ROWE on violin (from HUGO LARGO)
this is the unedited version of the male video. if anyone can find this unedited version of the male show let me know. looking for foetus videos,if anyone can help me out. will trade or buy.
REALLY POWERFUL! I saw Foetus Inc. in Chicago during this tour back in 1994 or 95?? I also saw Clint Ruin backed by most of the original Swans back in 1990 in Minneapolis. Great! I remember at the end of the show there was this really young kid just hanging out. Clint Ruin came back onstage and accused this kid of being the anti-christ, and succeeded at scaring the shit out of this poor kid!!! He, he, he!!! Haven't seen a moving performance like Foetus in a long time!
Today.....
...Is the First of September (it really is!)

Heh heh, that kid obviously never saw Skinny Puppy or Alien Sex Fiend in the mid to late '80's.
Now those were some shows that would put a kink in your head you'll never iron out.
Great mind-bending stuff, definitely shows you wanted to be tripping your gourd off on 'cid!
