Quite obviously, Obama is continuing the horrid crap of Bush, who he denounces here. Obama BIN LYIN'
Planning us into Afghanistan and Pakistan as he speaks. Pushing democracy at the point of a gun. Forcing them to get the same FREEDOM we have now..haAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Rapid withdrawal is a social solution, not a technical one. It seems comfortable, given all the talk here at home. But it is not necessarily optimal way over there in Iraq. That's the difference between being a coordinator and hitting a bullseye from 5,000 miles.
Does anyone remember Vietnam? All I ever hear is how many of our soldiers have died. Does anyone know the amount of Iraq soldiers killed? Also, would you become an elementary school janitor and expect to never clean up vomit? I wouldn't ever join any armed force because I don't want the chance that I could go to war. If our troops didn't think of that then I guess to bad. I don't really understand why we our over there but until I'm sitting in congress, I won't trash on our government.
Iraq will never meet bush's benchmarks and they don't plan to try. They hate that they aren't allowed to control their own country now and want the U.S. out of there. We had out Civil War without 'much' interference. Let them have theirs.
They have the power. It's constitutional. They need to use it. It is our duty to light a fire under Congress's collective behind, and MAKE them join with folks like Obama and Feigold. Fantastic job, Senator. I'll take Obama over Clinton any day.
only OBAMA! Do yourselves a favor and read his books. and explain the big words to George Bush. then donate to his campaign, all your money, our son's & daughter's limbs depend on it.
I'm a Kucinich man and didn't think too much of an Obama candidacy, but this makes me think twice...Obama is a press darling, whereas Kucinich doesn't even seem to get mentioned in lists of announced Democratic candidates...I just want to make sure the Democrats nominate an antiwar candidate...
Kucinich is one of those on a short list of great congressmen that tend to get little spotlight. When he is, the exposure isn't usually flattering (that little video of "sixteen tons" for example).
He works hard, believes in his causes, and has genuine concern.
This is great, Obama. Force those spineless, rubberstamping congressmen to take a side in this war everybody knows will end badly. Make them have to explain their votes in the next general election.

How do you like that spineless rubber stamping president of yours now dafttool?? lol, nice 47% approval rating in his first year. it took Bush 5 years to get that low.
That's right. The question is not whether congress has the power to end the war, but rather does congress have the will to end the war. There is no doubt that congress has the power if they choose to exercise it.

Withdrawal from what? The presidential race? Try to look less like a 17yr old, then you might get the nomination.
