Ok, I have the posture of the grip down but the problem is when I play, my grip becomes so relaxed that eventually my pinky and middle finger will come off the bow slightly. This in turn cause me to have to become rigid in the arm and hand for more control which I know is wrong.
I love hearing that from people! Sometimes it is hard to tell who is actually reading them consistantly so glad to hear there are people out there :) Do you play at all?

I found this video to be very helpful and informational. It fully explains what you need to know as a beginner. Everything is covered and explained very well. GREAT VIDEO!! A++
Is that how you always have to hold the bow? 'Cause my Orchestra teacher says you can go past the adjusting screw and frog.

Nice video. Some folks have their hand placement a little higher. Second finger on the ferule is a good place too.
