  • Is that how you always have to hold the bow? 'Cause my Orchestra teacher says you can go past the adjusting screw and frog.

  • Nice video. Some folks have their hand placement a little higher. Second finger on the ferule is a good place too.

  • Ok, I have the posture of the grip down but the problem is when I play, my grip becomes so relaxed that eventually my pinky and middle finger will come off the bow slightly. This in turn cause me to have to become rigid in the arm and hand for more control which I know is wrong.
