Maybe it's just me but it always seemed to me that Michael fully mastered his voice around the time Bad came out. He was always a great singer, but it seemed like he fully developed his power and that kinda cool roughness he could add in like at 3:42. I may be wrong of course but I think all the touring made him a more capable singer overall
Even though Michael was a man, it's still hard to convince that 'HE IS DEAD'. I was around when he first started in the early 70's. And the summer of 09 to hear it on the radio, it's like my breath was taken a way. For those that talked ulgy about him while he was alive, now talk sweet about him at his deatlh, shame on you.
i think he gets super hyped about 'heartbreak hotel' because i THINK that was the first song he wrote and composed all by himself...so it was like his first real baby.
@uplandgirl32 no you're totally wrong.. Dont stop til you get enough was written and composed by Michael only and that was in July 1979 while Heartbrake hotel was from 1980
To me, i like it better when he does ALL his tours with his bros. its more classic. the other ppl with mike are ok TO ME...but i loved it when he was with his bros. on the tour. and marlon is just to dang funny to replace! :D
I love, LOVE this song. Every live performance I've seen of this song so far has been super bad ass. Although Yokohama is my favourite, this one is sheerly amazing. Too bad the visual is appalling.
yeahh mann i think all the heartbreak hotel performances he does izz very energetic he always seems very hype on most of em lol KING OF POP 4 EVERRRRR!!!!
The freestyle in this performance was outta control, simply amazing! The energy, passion, and emotion that was put into this performance is indeed unmatchable!!!!!!!! Long Live the King!!!!!
When i say freestyle i usually mean dance freestyles, instead of choreography that's memoized, dances he does on impulse because he's letting the music guide him.
Oh, it's the first leg, I thought was the third leg, cause MJ also made a second show on Tokyo for christmass
