i wouldn't say most people in america "hate" oasis. most people i know love wonderwall and my friends and i have adopted champagne supernova as our favorite song. its just that most people aren't aware of anything beyond those one or two songs. they have shitty taste in music, but they don't HATE oasis.

I dont like how Wonderwall made Oasis famous because thats the song they're famous for here, you can say some people know Champagne Supernova but a lot of people dont know them, like you said. Wonderwall is a great song but they have a lot of better music than Wonderwall. I hope can see what Oasis are really like in the states.
