i like the idea of the bicycle--the idea that life is a cycle and all things are impermanent. i think what the video is trying to say is that when you're going through a tough time, remember that all things pass, nothing lasts forever, and at every breath we take, our life changes. we can always let go of what brings us down, and move forward as these cyclists do.

I bought a cross country mountain bike and I began to do that, and now I mountain bike the trails here in El Paso Tx.but I still get to work on my mountain bike. I'm with paintinbiker here. If you think this is mushy bullshit, you are the exact target group. Unemployment, etc., are external nuisance factors (and keep in mind that boundaries give life meaning). Example: You find that typography course interesting even if exams are killing you? Go for it. When you do things out of your own free will, the rest will follow (friends, job, ..). Maybe not immediately, maybe not in a year, but at some point in life. Even when not, you will have had fun doing it.
