@rustyswonitall 2 words: Walmart sucks, Also this is taken from a vehicle cam. the 1st ammendment of the constitution allows me to record stuff like this and there is not a damn thing they can do. there was no sinage at the entrance that said no cameras, etc.

good way to f**k your final crossmember or blow out some bags by not exhausting your bags... next time u drop a trailer, keep lowering your trailer lags till u hear the air pissing out of the leveling valve on your tractor... save yourself a potential bill...work on many trucks and see it often enough, dump switch or not drivers are not caring enough... specially when it's not their unit. good tutorial though.

You don't need a dump switch, you jack the trailer up with the truck still attached untill you start hearing the leveling valve exhausting... so by the time you hop back in your truck to pull away from your trailer you should have next to no air left in your bags vs an air suspension fully loaded.

Nice! One question, why not leave the truck running when you drop the trailer? Seems like it would only take a couple minutes. Then again, I know next to nothing about big rigs, so if I'm totally wrong, it wouldn't suprise me.

My dad hauls walmart groceries, and when we drop a trailer at the yard, we leave the dollies 4 or 5 inches off the ground. Then we let the air out of the back end and the the trailer is set so the walmart drivers have to crank it up! ^_^ its pretty funny.

Werner's 'areodimic' trucks I don't think have suspension dump valves I never see them do it anyway, I know their bigger trucks, like Frightliner Classics did though.

Does Schneider have a dump valve for the suspension? If so, airing down the suspension before pulling out is allot easier on the legs. And all of us know that those legs take a real beating! Glad to see you have a job!

Nice LED lights, and did I hear a Cummins start? Fairings looks like a Freightliner.

I have alot of Melton trucks come in, usually FL Columbias, a few FL Cascadias, and some very nice new KW's. I am, however, disappointed to hear CAT is out of on-road diesels, leaving it to Detroit, Cummins, and the new Mercedes I've seen in a few trucks. (I have yet to see a Volvo with a Volvo engine! lol)
