  • John Corapi...you are so missed and so loved you have taught us so much...

  • Father is a priest forever and our brother in Christ. Pray more, criticize less.

  • Corapi looks like the devil!!

  • Corapi is the MAN!!! anyone who says anything bad about his person is ignorant @LxE100 @protochris you hypocrites need to practice what you preach and be more Christlike...

  • Fr. John Corapi isn't a man of God.

  • That's the problem with Fr. Corapi, he walked away leading everyone confused with only an apologetic defense in legal speak. No one is making a shallow judgement on the person of Fr. C, but we can sure judge his actions.

  • Wonderful Interview I do not believe Father was in Love with Celebrity but many said the same about JP2, St. Padre Pio, St. Vianney, Fulton Sheen etc. I think that many are jealous of Father and this whole thing was political. Fr.Corapi is a good Man no one should make judgement s based on such flimsy, superficial evidence. That is just plain ignorant and Shallow.

  • Fr. Corapi's love of celebrity detached him from his spiritual life. When allegations were first cast his way, he said it was harmful to "someone as popular as me". The man who was synonymous with humilty is now a stranger to it.

  • :o I hope the cameraman is ok. Father Corapi must tell really intense stories to bring out a fainting spell :P

  • @luyben12 'Bye, luyben.

  • @luyben12 Well, we are only allowed so much space here :-) and I have done the best I can within that limitation. I am a longtime admirer of Fr. Corapi's work as a preacher and teacher, and I happen to think that the direction he has been going in contrasts sharply with what he himself has taught in the past. I think he is at war with himself and needs help. That's it. Clearly you are reacting more to harsh things that some other people have said, rather than to what I have said. God bless.

  • @luyben12 Fr. Corapi emphasizes here two themes as the proper response to fear: trust in Jesus rather than in one's self, and prayer. But, he has publicly modeled a different approach since his suspension was announced, His words here are particularly haunting: "Behind a lot of this is fear...fear of not being everything somebody wants you to be - I have it now. Fear of not living up to the expectations of the people out there, and there are millions of them who don’t really know me."

  • @luyben12 I think you need to calm down a bit. I didn't say that Fr. Corapi has rejected the word of God; I said that, sadly, he has rejected his own admirable words from this video. Since I hope to see his good name restored, I have no wish to "draw and quarter him", and have not done so. Nor did I say or imply anything about judgment, either eternal or wrt the accusations against him. I do fear that he may be unwell -- so if it's all right with you, I'll continue to pray for his health.

  • You must have missed part of the interview a Camera man fainted and there was some comotion going on Father was looking to see what happened.

  • Is he glancing at a teleprompter? He keeps looking at Fr. Pacwa and then slightly to Fr. Pacwa's left. It looks like a speaker checking his telepromptered speech. I am praying for Corapi and for all priests, and especially the SOLT every day.

  • How very, very timely. Thank you, and we will never know if Fr. Corapi has listened recently to his own words here. It is heartbreaking to think of how broken inside he must be, just now, to have rejected the message he once spoke so naturally and eloquently. May God help and heal him.
