this happens because in halo, cutscenes are not pre-rendered, but take place in the level itself. that's why you can see a burn mark in a cutscene if you chuck a grenade. so, all the cutscenes are somewhere in the level, but they're inaccessible.

this one is a glitch.

I love to see these posts about how this in High Charity. Note, this is not the same ship that is in the infected Covenant city later in Halo 3. It is quite similar, in fact, this is the bridge of the Covenant ship Shadow if Intent, and its model was indeed used later in the (very annoying) Cortana level.

Its where the cutscene on the previous mission happens. Bungie put all the cutscenes into the campaign missions as this saves having to put them onto the disk as films, which would take up a lot of space. You can find every cutscene location in campaign, though you usually have to use Pan Cam.

its used in the cutscene for this level as a previous comment stated the clips are part of the game not added in, this is the bridge of the shadow of intent but its just the same design used as a room in the mission cortana aswell just added flood etc.
