  • Indeed....Indeed.

  • The scene where they discuss time differences is genius!

  • 7:43 brilliant.

  • "Is she screwing up his medication? Is she?!"

    Brilliant.

  • The pill? Don't go on the pill, danger of THROMBOSIS

  • I LOVE JONATHAN ROSS!!! No homo...

  • If the kid wanted to meet Andy, there he is. Why would you make arrangements in the future after his operation? Makes no sense.

  • The mother of the sick kid is a fucking manipulative, pushy bitch but you would visit the kid, not just 'cos it's the right thing to do but also for the kid. He can't help who his mum is.

  • "I love the fact your toys have toys"

    "Well ofcourse"

  • 'took me two days to work out they're 8 hours ahead!'

    '..they're behind.'

    hahahah amazing.

  • Steve gets really annoyed about Jonathon Ross and Ricky's friendship.

  • @TheOptimod Now now, be nice.

  • British TV is infinitely better than American TV, but I hate that theirs only 6 episodes in a series. In the States their are 20 - 27.

  • @TheDavidG54 But then the quality gets diluted. Quality not quantity.

  • 8:40 Merchants face :(

  • Extras and Peep Show, my two favorite cringe comedy shows.

  • at 5:00 i thought hey it's jimmy carr :D

  • it seems like Andy is being Ricky Gervais on the talkshow. I love their chemistry.

  • I've always thought Terry Jones looks like Robert de Niro

  • your gonna notice robert lindsey in a room

  • Jimmy Carr has a strange family.

  • Man the paper says henry when he was still in arsenal, I wish I was living at that time.

  • It is quite tricky to make the mother of an ill child look the bitch, but these guys pull it off.

  • that mum is such a bitch... thats soo cheecky what she did!

  • Ross And Gervais are like the arrogant double team. They are far too paly paly together in this

  • @Noeladishi

Yeah, I think that's the idea.

  • @henrah1981 I dont think they were trying for that, your wrong

  • Everytime I see that scene about the time difference I break up.... So brilliant...

  • "I don't know what you're for"

    LMAO

  • the opening could of so easily been a real Ricky Gervais interview

  • @jimmyPain2121 it was

  • @TheAnxiousMan lol no it wasnt

  • @jimmyPain2121 i can get it if you want

  • @jimmyPain2121 it is, it's real. that's like the second time he went on.

  • wossy takes fwiend for a wide. hahah

  • i like work with ricky gervais one day

  • Is it me or do you actually want to punch that kids mum right in the face?!

  • @MrsGreenDay123

I really wanted to lodge my foot through her neck - and she looks annoying too!!

  • @MrsGreenDay123 It's you - we want to punch you in the face.

  • @MrsGreenDay123 i totally agree with you id tell her to fuck right off

  • @MrsGreenDay123 I want her dead.

  • Brilliant comedy

  • 5 6 - You are going up! 5 6 - YOU ARE STILL GOING UP!!

  • I paused at 2:34, such a funny place to freeze.

  • belts and braces

  • 7:28 "I love the fact that your toys have got toys"

    --Andy being sensible

  • "Why didn't I look in there? I usually look in my pocket... For fu-....Well done, kid..."

  • the soulmate Maggie-Andy relationship is sooo niceee... I envy... and what a laugh at the parents LOL !

  • seems like Ricky is being himself in the interview with Jonathan Ross...

  • @MissusFingerBottom i think that might be a real interview that he did with jonathan ross and they just used the footage. or else they were just trying to show how andy is like ricky so andy gets on well with jonathan too. /endrambling.

  • Ross and Gervais together! It`s like a meeting of the speech-impediment society.

  • What an incredible c**t he is, this Mr Jonafan Woss

  • havin' a toss... i love English slang!

  • The message/moral of this part is... never forget your friends on the way up... as they may not be there on the way down if you do...

  • copyright censorship makes my fuckin blood boil

  • nah I felt sorry for the woman with the sick son. She was a bit firm but definitely not pimping her kid, or being overly insisting.

  • @1137moiz she was.. she demanded to get his number and not his agent. And within like 1 minute of meeting him, asked for him to visit her son and then without consideration for Andy's schedule, set the time and date. She is definitely pimping out her sick kid.

  • @farizzal He does does'nt he robert L is a good actor but only seen him do my fam and a part in ab fab

  • This episode, Maggie heavily was influenced by Steve. Remember in xfm Steve feeling jealous of Gervais n Ross friendship

    Poor Steve

  • I have to agree - really bad scene, possibly the only one in Extras?

  • aaaaand channel 4 blocked part 2. yeah fuck you too channel 4. bbc could have blocked the whole series, but they're not pricks.

  • thanks for putting this on dude clear picutres too!

  • those old biddies talking about knobbing.classic!

  • how funny is the conversation about the time difference, i almost soiled myself!!

  • Doesn't Robert Lyndey look a little like Kevin Spacey?

  • lol, and Gervais does do a movie with De Niro

  • What a bitch... I would have just said call my agent or nothing! celebrites don't have to confirm anything without there consent anyway.

  • he did say call my agent

  • he seems to drop in and out of character in this episode, strange.

  • @hackeragent44 yeah its not really Millman its Gervais in this episode. Especially in the Jonny Ross episode.

  • @1990ricky1990 it wasnt even on channel4 thats the worst of it

  • love when that man says indeed at 6.14

  • The whole LA time thing is hilarious

    "I don't know what you're for!"

  • Talk about neurotic!

  • I want a friend like Maggie :0(

  • what a fucking BITCH parent of that kid. I got angry watching that. I would have told her to fuck off.

  • Or, maybe she wanted her young son to meet one of his heroes before he possibly died.

  • fuck you

  • @jezmuff me too, what a cunt

  • aren't the parents and their friends too old to be able to get pregnant? why the condoms?

  • That's the joke.

  • wachu mean?

  • ricky worked with de niro on stardust

    so that could have helped

then again, that might have been after this was shot

  • Love how in reality... Robert DeNiro has worked with Ricky Gervais

  • an orgasm is an orgasm is an orgasm.

    Indeed "chuckles" indeed.

    LOL

  • that is comedy gold!!!!!

  • Er.. yes it is!

  • "if they get in at 10 - add 8."

    "18!"

"what do you mean 18?! add 8 hours - so 6 o clock!"

    "right - their time..."

    "our time!!"

"that's what I meant. so what would that make it there?"

    "10!!"

    "right... at night?"

    "in the morning!!!"

  • Why was Andy hesitant about the sick kid? Harsh! XD

  • Oh my god the bit with the parents was freaking hilarious!

  • that interviewer has terry jones's lovely british lisp.

  • it's Jonathon Ross... he's pretty famous in the UK

  • He's very famous. Who doesn't know who Jonathon Ross is?

  • Andrew Sachs certainly does

  • I agree. Really funny, but not very realistic.

  • i think it is ricky gervais when he was on jonathan ross

  • nope

shes a mum that demands celebrities attention by pimping out her sick kid

  • @The8thDOCTOR

    bloody good idea that hmmmm

  • @The8thDOCTOR are you talking about macaulay culkin's mum?

  • You should be pushy about things that actually matter. Decent hospital care, the attention of specialist doctors, help where help is needed. A celebrity visit is hardly a necessity.

Your child isn't a special little snowflake just because they're sick. Neither are you as the parent. That situation doesn't give anyone the right to demand a perfect stranger's time in so rude a fashion. And Andy is a stranger to her, celebrity or not.

  • I agree,Why do some parents not realize that their angelic offspring dont interest non relatives in the slightest nor do we want to hear little jims/jillys amazing story about the time he/she saw a cat but it turned out to be Myra Hindley at the bottom of the garden.

  • The mother infuriates me.

"I'm worried about this kid though... Is she screwing up his medication?"

  • Ricky plays himself too much in the interview with wossy...

  • How funny is Steve Merchant? Bloody hilarious!

  • You know Ricky actually acted along with DeNiro in Stardust

  • "i think your going to notice robert lindsay in a room"

  • I don't understand, is Robert Lindsey known as a mainly comic actor in Britain? I only know him from "Horatio Hornblower."

  • hornblower is cool :D love it

  • Yeah, he became famous dong sitcoms in the 70's I think.

  • replied to the wrong person xD

    /walks away slowly

  • why shouldn't he, it's one short visit.

  • If it were real then Andy would be acting like a greedy bastard. Just one stop for an deathly ill child who's obviously a fan. Ah well wouldn't be funny if it ended up that way.

  • The mum was a bit much, but its a tv show. Its not real.

  • orgasm

  • That mum goes too far. she has no right to try and force him into it and its not an obligation to see this kid. Its as if she expects him to drop everything and make the kid his priority!

  • really? ... wow you're a piece of work. it's a tv show - it parodies real life fans who are ridiculous. good grief.

  • its only a slight parody, its also based on past experiences of ricky himself, people are really like this sometimes.

  • I hate fucks like that woman, they think the world owes them, terrible for any child to go through ilnesses and that - but sometimes the parents just cash in and in the end it's just something to boast to the neightbours about.

  • to be fair, i agree. They seem to use their child to meet famous people. My god, its wrong.

  • YES finally Andy gives his agent an ultimatum..

  • They couldn't have got anybody better than Ashley Jensen to play Maggie, she was just perfect for the role.

  • I dunno why your comment got such negative feedback, it's my favourite quote of this episode.

  • i think u could be over thinking it its only a t.v program.

  • does anyone else think that maggies date looks like jimmy carr?

  • sooooo cringing the bit with the kid

  • That women at the beginning was a cheeky bassa.

  • The combination of the seriousness of the kid going to hospital and then Gervais just standing there with a beer cracks me up

  • Johnathon Ross isn't acting , he's just being himself and ad libbing . They were talking about it when he interviewed Ricky .

  • omg how awful poor maggie lol

  • trying to worm outta going to d hospital is unreal lol

  • man that woman's forward

  • the definition of dirty old people lmao

  • Haha Robert Lindsay is great in this

  • Haha "Is that your wages" Rossy earns a bombbbbb.

  • just give her damn number! is she gonna stalk u? millman is so awkward

  • it's not about that, the woman was rude to ask for his number, it puts him in a difficult position because he's not obliged to visit the kid. And in fact the woman did make things very difficult for Andy later on..just because her kid is sick doesn't give her the right to think everyone has obligations to her and her kid.

  • poor maggie and i feel kind of sorry for his awful agent haha!

  • so how you getting on with that denerior thing?

    the wha?

    oh for fu..

  • denerior? do u mean de niro? coz that is god awful spelling!

  • this show IS amazing!

  • So glad when Andy told his stupid agent off.. about time

  • Yeah, but WHY didn't he fire him immediately after the Baftas? Lol.

  • anyone thinks that mother with the sick kid shouldn't have pressurized andy for his number?

  • tbh, it is over the top, its not like a law he should visit, he might be busy.

  • I think that's the joke lol

  • Has to be the funniest bit of extras ever. So 6 o clock. Their time? OUR TIME. So what time will it be over there? 10! At night? IN THE MORNING!

    God i love darren lamb

  • ricky gervais and robert de niro together in stardust, it actaully happened. hahaha.

  • are you being serious?? bahdadadadadadadadadadadadaaaaaaaa

  • Simply brilliant!

  • He really is the King of Cringe isn't he....

  • I can't seem to find the full xmas special on here now. I know it was here just after it aired, anyone help. Thank you.

  • "i think your going to notice robert lindsay in a room"

  • lol Robert Linsey is hilarious!!

  • yet you watch all the videos on youtube and post comments.

    nice....

  • grossberger how are you so stupid. its a tv programme

  • idiot

  • He's not meant to be acting, he's just straight interviewing Ricky as Andy. He started off as a producer and it was literally as a last resort he ended up on TV one time.

  • the parts when he is talking to andy, apparently "off camera" were supposed to be acting. Just because he used to be a producer, that doesnt mean you can excuse bad acting. but its just my opinion, anyway.

  • hey, his acting wasnt that bad! i thought he was ok...

And who cares? He's a legend anyway!

  • Jonathon Ross is presenter and interviewer so he's obviously going to be used to talking to a camera...his acting was crap because he seemed to be too aware of the camera...thats my opinion anyway

  • In which bit? If you mean where this clip begins, then yes, obviously, it's a chat show and that's his style. If you mean later in the green room with Robert Lyndsay then personally I don't see it but would see where you're coming from if it is so.
