gears of war 3 > everything. i cant believe this AMAZING trilogy has finally come to an end..it makes me sad :'(. The Gears of War series has been the BEST game HANDS DOWN ever created for Xbox.

This has to be one of the most emotional games out there. The storyline plus the choice of music really was awsome, sad, but awsome. This is by far my favorite song out of all of the soundtrack.

As far the Lambent, they're a mutating enemy controlled by imulsion, the "oil" of Gears, so they were at no risk whatsoever from the flooding.

RAAM controls the kril which would fuck up the covenent. skorge controls the rift worm which also fucks up the covenant. and what would glassing the surface do the locust live under the surface so the locust just won the covenant and the COG win the UNSC
@jamieovyama last I played I needed about 4 gauss rounds to kill one hunter. Kril only work at night. and not in space where the cruisers would be and whats the point of surviving the glassing, if afterwords you cant go to the surface because its molten glass. plus if push comes to shove the covenent would activae the great journey aka the halos and destroy all sentient bienings in the galaxy. or to be assholes they could just reliese the flood on the locust.

@pred6 the surface doesnt become molten glass, Halo has been destroyed, the covenent have no control over the flood, the lambent would own the flood, the immulsion would kill the covenant, the reavers would take down the battle cruisers, they cruisers dont orbitaly bomb planets they fly over them drop all the covenent down then proceed to glass theres no bombing in the proccess. sorry you loose.

@pred6 the fact that the arc was destroyed means that no rings can be fired, and yes as youve said the locust are the greater foe also the flood didnt ask for help they wanted something doing so gravemine ordered the flood not to attack them until they stopped the prophet firing the ring. and besides all the gravemines are dead
@jamieovyama the ark isint needed to fire the rings, its needded to fire all the rings at the same time, but you can still go to the individual halos and use there index. The flood also asked for help but it was not stated as so because the flood needede the chief and arbiter so they bassicaly asked them because they had no choice and would die if the halos were fired. and because there are halos that can be fired on there own and the locust and cog have no ships there is no stopping them.

man was on gears forums and i actually heard a really good one kinda like that , well as ya know in gears 2 dom lost maria well this guy put forward that what if marcus dies trying to save everyone, then end of the game kinda rainy scene and it shows dom standing over the grave of his best friend places a crumpled twenty on the headstone or something like that

getting gears of war 3 will be the greatest and saddest day in my gaming life.
greatest because I know that Gears 3 will be the most "EPIC" game that epic have ever made

If you bought the Carmione must live shirt you voted he live in the game but if you bought the Carmine must die shirt you voted to kill him. but the poll was he live so he will live in this one. he ooks like a beast to he has no arm armor and his primary weapon is the mulcher so hes similar to Jorge from Halo Reach (He had a fuckin turret)

@pred6 none of the gears have arm armour in this game because its set in the summer. his primary weapon isnt a mulcher that was just a photo. he uses the lancer and jorge is a big pussy in fact noble team are the worst team ever delta squad would fuck the covenant up. i mean if you combine 100 master chiefs 100 chuck norriss' 100 noble teams and 100 mr T's they still wouldnt be as good as marcus fenix. or delta squad. @jamieovyama Delta is great. but really you say Brothers to the end but hats just it, spartans are brothers and sisters knowbody really understands them but other spartans. the cog have an entire army but the UNSC is banking it all on a group of super soldiers that have super human abilitys. and by logic you are a gears fanboy because in reality the spartans have better technoligy gears have chansaw guns but spartans have energy shields and genetic augmentations plus spartans grew up together.

@jamieovyama (continued) when they got to know one another that well they are a true family. they look out for each other and wont quit till the end. plus if you really want to get tactical, each spartan has a specalty so when Delta comes knocking with all the same guns, Noble Team will have the weapon superiority because they have assualt rifles, (auto and semi) a sniper, a shotgun, pistols, and a supposed to be mounted anti air machine gun. give your argument an I bet I can beat it. go ahead.

@pred6 Delta squad work as a team Noble team left Noble 6 to do all the work. the cog have the superior weapons they have 3 assault rifles (auto and semi), two snipers, two shotguns, 3 pistols, 2 grenade launchers, a mulcher, mortar, hammer of dawn (beats all UNSC technology, bullet proof shields, torque bows, energy shields are nothing comparing to chainsaws. If delta fought Noble delta could bring lancer, gnasher, sawed off, retro lancer, one shot, longshot, mortar, mulcher, frags, smoke, ink

@pred6 (continued) grenades, also spartans are not really brothers and sisters they get put in seperate squads after training, also almost all of the spartans died during the procedure. The UNSC also have an army. Delta squad have fought in the locust hollow 3 times already but the UNSC wouldnt send the spartans on a suicide trip like that.The UNSC are fighting a weaker force than the COG. there i just beat your argument

@jamieovyama that does'nt mean enything if you were split up from your best friend and you knew you would never see him again wouldnt you still think of him as you brother. pluis the carmine brothers were all split up. and honestly the locust have 1 planet and are one thing were as the covenent have many planets many different species with different advanteges (Brutes are strong, Elites are smart, Jackles are good shots, grunts in numbers, Drones can fly in swarms, Hunters are equal to boomers.

@pred6 hunters die of one rocket so a boomshot would kill it. also seeders could easily take down a carrier. corpsers could take out the vehichles, brumaks would wipe out entire fleets. also the locust are not worms. RAAM controls the kril which would fuck up the covenent. skorge controls the rift worm which also fucks up the covenant. and what would glassing the surface do the locust live under the surface so the locust just won the covenant and the COG win the UNSC

@jamieovyama last I played I needed about 4 gauss rounds to kill one hunter. Kril only work at night. and not in space where the cruisers would be and whats the point of surviving the glassing, if afterwords you cant go to the surface because its molten glass. plus if push comes to shove the covenent would activae the great journey aka the halos and destroy all sentient bienings in the galaxy. or to be assholes they could just reliese the flood on the locust.

@pred6 the surface doesnt become molten glass, Halo has been destroyed, the covenent have no control over the flood, the lambent would own the flood, the immulsion would kill the covenant, the reavers would take down the battle cruisers, they cruisers dont orbitaly bomb planets they fly over them drop all the covenent down then proceed to glass theres no bombing in the proccess. sorry you loose.

@jamieovyama the ark isint needed to fire the rings, its needded to fire all the rings at the same time, but you can still go to the individual halos and use there index. The flood also asked for help but it was not stated as so because the flood needede the chief and arbiter so they bassicaly asked them because they had no choice and would die if the halos were fired. and because there are halos that can be fired on there own and the locust and cog have no ships there is no stopping them.
