  • cheers mate good vid

  • what model???

  • you said you drop the oil out of them when you get them, do you start them up and get the oil hot or do you just drain in straight out cold? thanks

  • is that a thumpstar?

  • These bikes work absolutly fine if you look after them and not beat them about.

  • only 15 hp? seems to be a bit low to me, my kxd with 125 ccm has around 12 hp with a standard loncin engine on it.

  • @olive1913 My dhz 160outlaw has 17hp

  • Which one of the Atomik's is this. A friend has Nitro 160 and they love it for there style of riding and they did not have to get loan just so you can ride with ya mates and bike runs very well. These bikes have made riding for new riders alike and farm herding back to a reasonable affordable price. The bigger brands charge way to much for what they provide, times are changing and there is more people now that want a reasonable bang for there buck, not a big bang for a BIG buck... GO! Atomik

  • Hey mate, your 100% true about these bikes! if you keep them maintained and looked after they work great! I have an Atomik Moto X 125, its a great bike but after 3 years the engine is buggered! i now know how to keep them maintained and looked after properly and it runs good still after the pistons and stuff are worn

  • Thanks for the video, you make a good point. I've had my Atomik 125 for over a year now and it's been fine. Just basic maintenance has kept it running solid and I have been using it for spirited riding and it's been great.

  • he bud just quickly can you tell me what oil you use of the 125 pit bike?

  • how much u want for that dirt bike and what one the green one ?

  • looks like a good bike i have a 50cc thumpstar great bike got rebiult and put a 2500cc 210 sproket racing muffiler its a nice bike

  • do you know where to get a new front mud gaurd for a smaller bike

i landed a jump and chased strait into a hidden fallen tree and snapped it off

  • Comment removed

  • im gonna get 1 and get some protaper bars and some new suspension n stuff then i will do a few small jumps

  • nice bikes

  • thankyou for for putting that on. that has really helped me to deside to but an ATOMIC

  • Imagine that if you take care of something it lasts! Thanks for the video.

  • They arnt a peice of shit, like he said is you acturally look after them then they will last and wont have any problems, if you treat it like a bag of shit then yes it will most likely fuck up with in 3 weeks!

  • @DRJCfilms I got mine for 2100 bucks

  • @flocilev I got my yzf for 2100 bucks

  • chinese bikes are pieces of shit m8... or should i choinese, which is how u say it lol..... always buy japanese, cos they're best on the market

  • I love the fact that your 250 makes 15hp and my yz250f makes 34hp stock. That's y I buy Japanese :)

  • @fsam9 but its 3000 bucks:)

  • @fsam9 and you payed 12 000 he payed 1 000 why get 1 bike when you can get 12?

  • @fsam9 wow u have such a huge cock man... whats daddy gonna buy ya next?

  • fucking beast oh a bike m8

  • Good on ya m8, it's so true. Look after them and they last. All the haters get there mummy and daddy to buy there yamahaa or watever.

  • There shit my friend had one and it lasted 2 weeks with no stress or anything just riding on flat. i wouldnt go anywhere nere them! waisting your time

  • The rear sproket on these bikes is really small so it sacrifices torque for speed which doesnt make sence on a dirt bike

  • That's the kind of bike I had locked up before I rode it once

  • how do you drain the oil and fuel from the bike?

    Cheers!

  • only 15 hp? crf 150 f makes about that

  • que

  • i have a chinese dirt bike and it is very good because I DONT DRIVE IT LIKE A RETARD

  • are these atomik 250's as slow as people say they are ?

or do they actually get up and move when you floor it ?

  • @rooneygy Yep they are a fairly under stressed engine, that makes them lazy, but long lived.

  • @Mendooranite no worries. thinking about getting a Maico or a Rm250 suzuki anyways.

  • @Mendooranite hey mate just to make sure as this 250.. how much weight can iit hold max. thanks mate

  • nice video

  • Fake Ktm

  • @jamesprankerd Its an ATOMIK. Fake comment.

  • @Mendooranite It has Ktm Plastics there fore a Fake Ktm

  • @jamesprankerd OK, so if a celica is designed based on a mustang, does that make the celica a fake mutang?.... Or Just a Celica?

  • @Mendooranite wana be ktm

  • @jamesprankerd mate, you're the biggest retard, i'm a bike mechanic and have worked on a few of these, so in other words maybe your writing from some type of special education school.

  • Your the guy who should be making the big bucks on T.V. reviewing products. Honest and accurate, and apreciated. I race, so the whole stolen mentality works better for me. But after watching this video I wouldnt hesitate to buy one for the wife. Thanks

  • nice bike, ive never seen a chinese dirt bike as good as this one!

I had an orion 140 for a few years then got a wr450. The jap bikes really are better quality regardless of how you ride them i believe, but they were great fun and i probly never would have been into dirtbikes if it wernt for the pit bike.

  • truer words have never been said mate if u look after the bike and dont treat it like u just got it of the back of a truck then it will last a good few years maybe even more and if people who r saying these bikes r crap actuly maintned them then they wouldnt be in pieces!!!!!! chinees always get bad mouthed about there "cheap" products when there actully deasent things… great vid mate keep them going im subscribing

  • Thanks a lot for this excellent review. Nice to see a fellow Australian who can pronounce his words :P You've almost got me convinced i'm looking at the Atomik Pro X250BM. looks pretty good! Just a quick question though. Did you buy them from atomik directly? and if so did you have to get them assembled yourself???

  • @RustyRussell3 It came assembled, I bought it second hand.

  • hey where about did u get them from ?

  • I agreee with ya bud ive been runing these chinese bikes for about 2 years, IF ya look after them they are fine i have one that we absolutly Kain but we change the oil check the chains make sure allthe bolts are tightened etc 10min checkovers make the bike last longer. people are just expecting to get a $12,000 bike outta china for 2g not gonna happen .

  • nice bike good video because of this video i found the bike brand i can bye

  • did u buy it from ebay

  • i got one of them bikes i trash the fuck out of mine and no worrys at all plus im a Mechanic i no how much they can take

  • nice vid, i'm interested in the TDRPRO

  • I'm not trying to hate or anything but if you payed $3000 for that bike, why not pay like $3000 for like a crf230 or something like that.

  • @22zmynumber Only paid $1000. Otherwise I would agree with you.

  • @Mendooranite O, sorry haha I thought you said $3000 :P

  • they arnt suppose to be fast there supposte to be good fo climbing

  • did u say 15 or 58 horse power?

  • ye would it keep up with a jap 250, they reckon they go 150kms and Mendooranite how longs it been and is it still going or what?

i was goin gto get a proper yz85 or crf150 but i can get 4 or 5 atomiks for the price of 1 so im getting 1 atomik 250 a year :L

  • Would it keep up with any other 250?

  • Hey, i might be getting the Green Pit Bike for christmas, just want to know if it runs good and doesn't make an anoying sound? Thankss

  • @ChrisReilly23

Yep it runs great and is only annoying for the neighbours. lol

  • I learnt something from this video >.<

  • So u just look after them and no dramas. I'm gettin the liquid cooled like urs. Is it very fast? Just wonderin

  • @CJ3514 Yeah look after the, and no they are not that fast.... just great for stuffing around.

  • good on you mate

  • 125cc pitpro makes 14 hp. this makes 15hp.. any sense?

  • @pallero1000 price difference?

  • the chinese bikes are great i have a skyjet 100cc got for 400euro my friend bough a honda crf100 for 1100euro and my bike still beats it a race at top speed and more stuff have gone wrong with the crf100 then the skyjet

  • it sucks crap so slow serous get it right dumb as !!!

  • @innermmostfungus Wow. Just wow. *Serious,,,,,, and if you want to insult someone get the spelling right. Its Dumb ass. Thanks for your helpful comments.

  • @Mendooranite dumb arse**

  • @bensmizz

    American English = Arse

    Australian English = Ass

    Both right I guess.

  • @Mendooranite on the contrary i think, im australian and i dont know abotu u but i prounounce it DUM-ARCE not DUMASS u dont sound like the kind of guy hu says dumb AAASSS

  • @bensmizz OK Thanks.

  • Very good, informative video. Thank you.

  • agreed, i have had an atomik 125 for 2 years and have thrashed its guts out many times with the intent of breaking it just so i could pull it apart :) so far i have been unsuccessful, its still strong as it was when i bought it, the only thing that has broken is the break pedal but that was the result a quite a large stack. i dont see the problem with Chinese bikes either, they are an industrious race and they are producing perfectly good motorcycles..

  • not trying to sound cockey or anything just wanted to know, why is it that this bike is a 250cc and gives out 20 horsepower and my cr85 is 85cc and gives out 25 horsepower? someone anser please..... thanks

  • @joec231095 OK new to bikes I see. The CR range use a 2 stroke engine, that means it makes a power stroke every trip down - twice as often as a 4 stroke. The CR range are competition bikes - that is they are tuned to provide big HP and short service life. The factory manual will rate a CR engine in hours - it might only be 20 hours between ring changes and 50 hours between piston and ring changes. That said I love the two strokes - I own a stack of them, I bought this bike to save wear on my CR

  • The little pit bikes are a bit hard to ride all day?

  • I'm thinking about getting a pitpro but I am thinking of getting one of these too what should I pick?

  • hey great review I’m trying to get a atomik fury250 and i was just wondering what this particular model was?

  • @backjansz Mate, sorry I am not sure.

  • Nice vid! Thanks for the info!

  • You are spot on lad, glad you got the watercooled 250 and not the old push rod air cooled donk, i work on these a lot and have only seen one engine do 2 gear because of the rider not using the clutch, a china rider with some brains, keep enjoying mate.

  • i have an rm125 and love it, where can i find these bikes for sale, especially the smaller sizes because i want to find a bike for my little brother, thanks and goodluck with the bikes

  • I mean this bike with me would last a whole 5 mins if that , but if your just riding around your back yard its worth the money.

  • 15hp? thats the same hp as my lawn mower.

  • 15hp? thats the same as my lawn mower.

  • @Brycerath27 Aside from the benefit to humanity your comment brings, You are twice as special because you posted twice. Enjoy your mower mate.

  • @Mendooranite hi i have one of these bikes got it for 500 going strong too have found the rear allen bolts tend to work loose on the rear sprocket .but no probs with the motor apart from retuning as the prev owner set it up for dirt track racing .am looking for a standard exhaust tho as prev owner put a down pipe on it and limits clearance .good vid too

  • nice looking bike how fast does it go

  • 15hp ! thats so shittt ! i have a chinese 125cc model, but i mean kx85's have more HP than that mate, jheeze looked nice untill you said that :/

  • @nikshake2 Yeah I think you are missing the point. The KX85 is a competition bike with short top end life and is built to race. This is more of a general purpose machine (like an XL250 or XT230) I have competition bikes, but dont want to wear them out riding in the paddock with kids on Pee Wee's.

  • @Mendooranite jap bikes are better and cheaper if you look on craigslist and kx85s don't have a short life at all they will last a couple years as long as you take care of it however they will have a short life if you rev the shit out of them for long periods of time and blow them up and I'm not tryin to be a faggot youtube keyboard warrior i just wanted to make a point

  • @kx85racer199 Each to their own mate, you can get cheap motocross bikes if you look. Good luck with your bikes.

  • @nikshake2 hay champ I own one of these and they put out a total of 15 Killowatts of power not 15 Horsepower.

  • @fullboostturbo1 No worries - no doubt you are correct.

  • nice bike dude

  • @Dane418 Thanks mate - it been a good thing

  • i flog the shit outta my jap bikes and they love it. the plastics dont break nor do the parts bend. yet i did own an atomik 125 and didnt flog it and the engine caught fire while i was riding. they are horrible bikes and you probably dont do any real riding. by the way, give it 6 months and this bike will be broke

  • @ItsMRMONEY Hi there, This video was posted in August of 2009, ie 9 months ago. It still runs like a champ and I still use it almost every weekend. Yes compared to a jap bike it is not as good, but it is far far cheaper. I would rather wear this out than my good bikes.

  • i like how you said that you dont treat them like crap, and when people say that they have had bad experiences with them it prob because they treat them like crap. even if it is just a thousand dollar bike it can still crash as easy still get stolen as easy so why put them down. thanx for making the vid i wanted to find out how other people thought about them.

  • chase the sheep? lol just kiddin

  • @danielboland81 Mmm Yeah I suppose you could

  • mad bike how much $ ???

  • @awsome140 I paid $1000 1 hour old

  • I just bought one of those tdr 125's they look awesome, same colour and everything.

  • Hi this is the boy that owned the red atomik 70 previously just was looking through video and this one come up nice to know its still running good thnxs..

  • @reggieTHErabbit Hey mate - has two flat tyres at the moment! but mechanically its a gem. I sold the green bike the day I got it home, that seat was just too hard!

  • good vid man, i just bought an atomik link 250cc for 1000 dollars

  • Great Vid - We've also bought and owned 5 atomiks - each without fail. If you're after an every day bike to have some fun on, these do the trick. They're no Jap bike, but neither is the price. Take care of them, and theyl treat you well. My current ride is an Atomik Blitz - love it, comfortable, big and does the job, its 2 years old, and ive only had to buy an ignition switch in that time.

  • @jka001 Thanks mate - good for the money - that sums it up.

  • dam- nice. you must live in the out back all free like. lucky kids!! here in the police states its getting harder and harder to ride. jah!

  • @riderlifer Yeah mate I have 11 acres of my own I ride on with unregistered bikes, and I have hundreds of kilometers of fire trails in the forrest just up the road. That one reason I got the CRE500 and DT200 - I can ride those in the national park because they are road registered .

  • its really cool that you guys are into it!! nice.

so now that you know you are into it. get a real bike man. its like playing music with a plastic guitar, sure it works and it may even stay in tune but dam. sum of the parts. I ride a ktm.

  • @riderlifer Yeah mate - this is just one of my bikes, I got it so I wouldn't wear out my CRE500, IT465 or DT200 riding with the kids in the paddock. It derves its purpose and I feel better wearing out a $1000 bikes that I would on a good one.

  • nice

  • I posted on this video before, seen it again now but, hows it runnign now mate? needed anything on it orrr? still runnin?

  • @LordEthan2 Nah Mate - nothing needed (except maybe an oil change) I had myself and two kids on it today for big long laps of our big paddock. Last weekend It had about 4 Hours use with lots of kids having a double. Still starts and rides no problems.

  • still looks brand new

  • hello there i wonder if thats blitz ? =D lol nice bike , looks like a KTM :P really like the look and btw , whats the wheel size ? =D its 16'' right ? :D

  • what size of backwheel ? 16'' ? nice bike btw

  • i got a 70 (im 12) and it goes great. a few things have broken but nothing you cant fix with a welder and hammer :)

  • yeah i have braught 3 of them now and nothing to complain about

  • Im getting a 4 stroke 125cc pit bike. They are loads of fun!

  • heyy mate were did u get the bike from, ive been looking for one for a while now

  • It was a private sale on Ebay - just one hour old.

  • awesome, how much did u pay for it

  • $1000

  • Great bike mate!!! Looks like a ktm almost

  • Almost! Thanks.

  • Nice I'm getting the same bike. Great video!

  • Great - look after it it will serve you well.

  • great video mate

  • Thanks

  • good video

  • Thanks

  • hi im claudio....i thinking to bay one,i really dont know how is the quality of this bike...... what you thinking in general?

and also i want ask if is possible find some kit for get a more power......or if is possible elaborate this engine....

    thanks mate

  • Claudio, best to check the manufacturers website.

  • ya i got the 250cc one only problem i have is the chain keeps snapping had to put 4 er 5 new 1s on in the last 2 months i have broken some leavers but that ended when i got some hand grads. other then the chain braking grate bike

  • Bugger - hope you sort it out.

  • Me and my dad are looking at getting one, im turning 16 and weigh ruffly 53-58kgs. Would my 11 brother who weighs 32kgs be able to ride it without it flipping on him or something. Would $800 cash be a good price for a second hand one, that ONLY has 3 hours riding time on it.

If you can get back to me on it I will appreciate it, Thanks (P.S Like the vid)

  • Mate best to try that in controlled conditions. I dont know how safe your brother would be. $800 with three hours use is cheap.

  • okay, thanks :D

  • cool not it looks like a piece of fuckin shit that just got hardcore

ass raped in a mother fucin bush just sayin

  • Dude... I dont really know what you just said but thanks for watching the video.

  • i just got mine about a month ago

  • what size is the tdrpro?

    ive got a 125cc

  • Yep mate another 125.

  • really good video ***** :D

  • Thanks mate

  • ok thanks man :).

  • i have to agree with u mate people rubbish these bikes but its because they dnt know how to use one, also im thinkin of getting an Atomik Reign bigfoot off ebay wat do u think, should i go ahead?

  • You probably need to ride one and consider what you are going to use it for.

  • i only put a little bit of grease on them but yeah not alot. so that might be the problem, normally the little brass ball snaps off the end. but thanks anyway man

  • Well that sux, they shouldn't break anyway. Steel cables should have 60kg+ breaking strength. Try the manufacturer for a warranty claim?

  • on my pit bike my clutch cables and throttle cables break alot.

  • Wow I must be lucky! no breaks here! Did you lube your cables?

  • i had realy bad expirience whit my pit bike, i broke the frame on my pit bike after 2 months and i got a new one 3 month later the frame snapped

  • wow that sounds bad!

  • @Mendooranite yeah it was not only the frame that snapped the exhaust did 3 times cause i got a new one 3 times then i wlded it on then havent snapped yet, and i have had alot more torube

  • Comment removed

  • seems like a pritty good peice of kit to mee,, ive got a thumpster 110cc and i want a new bike, im thinking 140cc or go straight for a 250cc ?? any cluess if i should get i bike like thiss ?

  • Yep it has been OK for me.

  • nice bike. if their bikes have fell apart its cus there tards and arent lookin after them keyboard assasins m8 have lots too say but no personal experiance too back it up i use ma 125 cc pitbike for fun and nuthing broke on it for over a year accept the engine kill switch and i drive mines like it was stole the engines will go on and on 2 stroke have a more regular maintanece routine than four strokes the worst prob is their pistons goin four strokes the pistons hardly ever go 4 strokes rock!!!!
