i used to have a manx cat growing up and it was the smartest cat i've ever owned. he hated using the cat box so we had to let him out everyday and he was a great hunter as well. miss him
@liamcollister LOL so that makes you an expect on pedigreed Manx cats? Not quite. This cat is a domestic with a birth defect - nothing more. And if you don't have TICA, CFA, ACFA or GCCF papers for your "Manx" it isn't one, either.
@liamcollister TICA, CFA or ACFA REGISTERED Manx? No - because he looks nothing like one. He's a domestic without a tail NOT a Manx. And if his parents lacked tails - same thing.
I had a mutt cat (product of my spaz housekitty who ran outside and got lost for a week and probably several toms) who liked to play fetch with the plastic seals from milk containers. He reminds me of your manx because he was big, yet graceful (as he never knocked anything down when chasing after his toy) and extremely smart. I had to give him up when I moved but I've always wanted to know what breeds he was...
I lost my 15 yr old manx a year ago....she was the best friend I ever had.....hubby accidentally let her get out when his dogs were loose....I dont know where she went.....I miss her so much.......I'll never have a best friend like her again....my heart is so heavy....her name was Jamaica......sigh
Your cat is too cute. They are very smart cats.I have a 3 yr old orange/white manx. He's my ROCKY. He's a dog in a cat's world. He'll retrieves his toys to me. It could be in the middle of the night and he's meowin at me with the toy in his mouth.
@dreamangel57 Yeah, he's more dog than cat. He wakes me in the morning by licking my chin to go outside and do his business. He never uses a litter box when I'm home.
my cat tigger (or tiggy) looks just like him.. except he has spots on his belly.. he is a manx also.. i was wondering to all the ppl who have these cats.. Does yours Meow like A WHOLE WHOLE lot??
omg that is so AWSOME!! i am not easily amused but that amused me soo much! (I actually am VERY easily amused but you get my point!) I agree with GothicAngelGothic you do have a nice voice.
You need to feed the dog party balloons. Like that the next time he poops, it will be contained in a neat and easy to throw away package rubber package!
not saying the one in this video is abusing the cat - No way. Laughing out loud. But I also don't really consider it giving a cat's high-fives. Nonetheless I can totally see that it can be considered as a cute, video
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
It is really bad to abuse cats - they are really sensitive animals. For a man ... to abuse a cat, doesn't necessarily make him more of a man. In fact he is a coward to do so. If a real man wanna pick a fight, against boxers in thailand, as an example.
ferus is so cute (i love cat but my mum and dad and brotherS are allergic to them but not me i'm not allergie. ) what gave you the idea to name him ferus and by the way there a town in canada call fergus so that very cool.

@Ferretocious It is a Manx cat. I know because I have a Manx cat too, and just happen to live on the Isle of man.

@Ferretocious Both parents are Manx so mine obviously is. It's so Manx, it has the bowel problems that come with being a Manx cat.

He defintely is more like a dog. He comes from outside when I call him. He's been a great pet. Not your typical cat!
deuxavions 1 year ago
He is very vocal. Although it's not much of your typical meow. More of a chirp or long yeowll.

My cat Monty looks EXACTLY like this guy except Monty has thumbs. I found him in a garage two years ago and I'm just now figuring out he's a manx.

Cool cat "G" I remember when you almost got rid of him. Bet you are glad you kept him. He does look like a damn Bobcat.
Cool trick too-can you teach him to pour scotch?
Can you teach my dog not to shit right in front of the back door?

this is the same thing with dogs. food is a reward for accomplishment. That is how they learn the "routine"
