Just wanted to thank everyone for watching this!! Just realized this clip have had 11000 views..

    Amazing!!

    THANKS!!

  • Hey BottleneckJohn,

I think this is one of your best vids!!!

    grtz from Holland

  • Did you make sure that bridge was no longer used?

I've been around old train tracks before that looked abandoned only to be shaken to reality by an unexpected train!

That would have made a interesting finale after you already dodged those bullets.

  • This bridge IS still in use, hehe!!

I wished for a train to come running.. Would have been a cool ending to the video!!!!! Us jumping off the tracks at the last moment...

  • I did one by the tracks and tried to time it so the train would come by. It did. I attached it to this one.

  • sounds like a Sleepy John song ??????

what an ensemble you got going on there! Great playing, all three of you.

    Best wishes

  • Thank you very much for diggin' our stuff!!

  • I ran across this video earlier. I knew it was 'How Long Blues' by Leroy Carr so I couldn't find it for a while. I obviously found it. A sweet song by any other name sounds just as sweet. Thanks. One of my favs. And yes, that just HAS to be gunfire. And I love that too.

    Cheers,

  • Hey there!

Thanks a lot for your nice comments!!!!

This is for sure a rendition of How Long Blues.. I love that song!!

Alright, it IS gunfire then, LoL!!

Lucky me to have a steel bodied guitar to protect me from stray bullits, haha!

  • I respect your musicianship, and I love the blues. I have been thinking that today black people don't really connect with the blues, it's more rap which is a more powerful position in music. I lived in Helena, Ar. for years, years ago, so I know blues. What once was a release for oppressed black people is now something totally different.

  • Thank you!

And your thoughts are interesting, I do have the same feeling about rap vs. the blues.

If you ask old black folks in the delta, many have never even heard about the ones we all today call the "fathers of the blues" Son House, Robert J. Etc..

I was really surprised when I realized that..

But that's life I guess, music and life moves on and changes! :)

  • Awesome sound! Was that gunfire @ 2:30? Just adds to the character...

  • THANKS!!!

The "gunfire-sound" was someone chopping wood I think.. LoL!!

  • Allow me to clarify, I mean downloadable tracks. I'd like to let friends hear your songs..

  • A new CD should be ready before summer!!

  • cooool

  • Dude!! I'm totally blown away. Love your music. Where can I find it online?

  • Thanks a lot!!!

These clips are all there is right now..

  • When you guys hear that train comin' please move! We'd all hate to loose 3 fine musicians! Well done

  • LoL!!!!

    Thanks!

  • just awe-inspiring.

  • That is so nice to hear!! Thanks for the comments!!

  • Thats what I'm talkin' about. The blues will never die.

  • Keep on bluesin' !!

  • Tackar så mycket!
