The Cordoba House mosque they are wanting to build close to the site of ground zero is named after the former mosque in Cordoba Spain, where an Islamic invasion took place. The mosque was built upon the site of a Christian cathedral. It does not symbolize peaceful coexistence but conquering domination. Interesting then that they should choose that name especially since that is more of a slap in the face then naming it a Mosque.

Mayor Bloomberg should build a shrine to Mohammed Atta and pass out box cutters to all Muslims on 9/11. The Mosque should hang pictures of all the hijackers in the halls with flowers and Allah's blessings.

Actually you can disallow a building or business to go in simply because you do not like it. That's why it's so difficult for you to live near a porn shop and shopping malls and schools require the neighborhood to agree on their placements.

Since this has nothing to do with freedom of speech, I do not understand why you bring it up.

That's like placing a Nazi pride museum in Aushwitz. You don't get to slaughter almost 3,000 and then put up a victory mosque.

There are NO inalienable rights to do this in that exact area. Your point only stands if no mosques are allowed to be built in the whole of NYC.

@0:54, Nunberg (God bless him) says "I don't know what his (Bloomberg's) motives are"...well, in case he hasn't heard, according to one rabbi, Bloomberg expressed his motives: when the rabbi confronted Bloomberg about the Ground Zero Mosque, supposedly Bloomber snapped & said they had to build the mosque if they wanted a temple (the rabbis blog said "a" temple, but I'm wondering if he meant to say "the" Temple)
