Fedora Uses RPM witch is less secure, slower boot up times and has a not as close together community. and btw the only neat tool i ever used with fedora is the wifi transfer so step off if anything Fedora is the retarded child of the Linux world. Ubuntu offers Power/Speed/Community. Fedora offers ZIP Learn to pic ur distros.
depends on what you use it for. i'm an xp refuge myself and installing ubuntu running gde was probably the best option to introduce me to linux.

Linux is a different "animal" than windows. If you approach it like windows you will fail and be disappointed. What makes Linux especially attractive is it's tradition of respecting user's privacy and it's resilentcy against computer virus's. Furthermore what's really exciting about Linux is that it just keeps getting better. While M$ and Windows continues to try to take users in a direction they don't want to go. Hence Windows keeps getting shittier with each new version.

Sudo prompts for password. prkill or whatever it is, does not. Deleting Windows system files. No password asked for. Though it does warn you that files have been replaced.

vista is the worst. I had problems with XP too but i know a lot of people get lucky with that... so i wont shoot it down, although i dont like it and have no problems with my mac. But unfortunately, yeah theres not a lot of games for mac... oh well

haha! i got so many viruses on my pc that i had my friend create a password to lock out downloading and not tell me so i couldn't risk getting a virus... its such a ridiculous system. and no i was dl'ing the retarded stuff that is usually loaded with trojans n such it was like legit addons n stuff

Actually I rather use Windows, then use something non Debian based. Fedora Uses RPM witch is less secure, slower boot up times and has a not as close together community. and btw the only neat tool i ever used with fedora is the wifi transfer so step off if anything Fedora is the retarded child of the Linux world. Ubuntu offers Power/Speed/Community. Fedora offers ZIP Learn to pic ur distros.

depends on what you use it for. i'm an xp refuge myself and installing ubuntu running gde was probably the best option to introduce me to linux.
i cannot stress "introduce". i'm well aware of other distros out there, but i'm just becoming familiar with the OS. it runs circles around windows on my machine. everything i do on windows, i can do on ubuntu much easier. the gui is spot on, and the community is top notch to help you out
dont knock ubuntu users. at least were not using windows.

use the famous "&fmt=18" trick on youtube, and you can actually see what he is typing. now i know that he is typing -t and not -s, but that was not tskill. more something like pskill, but thats not a valid command. i begin to think that tis vid is a fake.

If you run it in vmware, you can release the mouse from the guest OS. I had to use the mouse to click stop on my recording app.

Linux is a different "animal" than windows. If you approach it like windows you will fail and be disappointed. What makes Linux especially attractive is it's tradition of respecting user's privacy and it's resilentcy against computer virus's. Furthermore what's really exciting about Linux is that it just keeps getting better. While M$ and Windows continues to try to take users in a direction they don't want to go. Hence Windows keeps getting shittier with each new version.

Sudo prompts for password. prkill or whatever it is, does not. Deleting Windows system files. No password asked for. Though it does warn you that files have been replaced.

Yeah. It's harmless. I think for the tskill winlogon is actually tskill -s winlogon.exe tskill explorer will just terminate your desktop things and stuff. But don't worry, you can just start up task manager and start up explorer.exe again and it'll be fine!

MY POINT EVERY OS HAS VULNERABILITES... a simple command line operation usually exploits them
