It's not the back swing that's important it's how you get the club back down on the same plain to bring the c-head back square at impact.

3 quarters of the backswing is actually not bad. Amazing that he appears to bring the club face back down square at impact, ball seemed to start off straight.

I guess whatever works!!

Many decent pros have quirks to their swing. This swings reminds me of Jim Furyk's swing, only greatly exaggerated.
