That exhaust note sounds amazing, very deep Porsche like growl to it. It's amazing what the right exhaust system can do for any car. I love those wheels as well, nice look on the VW Fox.

Thanks :) im flattered. If got to say that the bad microphone distorts the sound quite a bit. But it sounds nice when the exhaust is hot and its not too loud since its only a muffler, the rest is stock. Im planning to convert it to a 1.8 Turbo (Audi S3, TT, Golf mkIV) with 200+ hp so hopefully there is more to come from my car.

Ich habe mir eigendlich einen FOX 1.4 TDI zum "sparen" gekauft, doch irgendwie ist mir dieser Winzling ans Herz gewachsen und nun möchte ich ihm doch ein paar nette Felgen (17"?) und eine Tieferlegung gönnen.

Wieviel tiefer ist deiner? Fahrwerk oder Gewinde?

hey fesch03, sorry I don't speak german :( I am a proud fox owner of 1 year, but would like alloy's like you have on yours in this video..I have the standard alloy. what do you call these alloys you have and where can I get some?

No problem i speak English ;). Well they are called Rondell 0024 (German manufacturer) i dont know if they are beeing sold in Ireland as well but they are basically Golf GTI style alloys. The dimensions are 7x17 inch with 205/40 mm tires. I bought mine on the internet.

If you get 17 inch alloys you also have to get coilovers because it wouldnt look good otherwise. Send me a pm with you email address and ill send you some pictures of my car.

I sent an e-mail to ABT Italia and they said they haven't exhaust for VW Fox.....How is it possible??

I told you that they took it out of their programme and only sell it on ebay-germany.

@fesch03 i just bought a fox today, amazingly fast car, its a 1.4 like yours, with 55 kw.

Amazing for a car that weights 987 kilo's unmanned. Just a question, is the car completely stock except for the rims and the exhaust? It sounds amazing <3 Im already in love with my own sound but this, haha:D Also, does it consume more fuel with this exhaust and do you know how much more? Im really interested :D

Congrats on your purchase ;).

Well the car has a different suspension and and a few other small things but engine wise its completely stock. This is also a slip on muffler so no modifications to the cat or the resonator.

The exhaust has no impact on fuel consumption directly but if you want to hear it and rev the engine higher of course you will end up with more fuel consumption :P.

Were coilovers made by Eibach? And where do you buy ABT Sportsline exhaust?

No they were made by Weitec (German Company) but they basically use KW parts but its not as expensive.

Bought the exahust on the ABT ebay-page, they cancelled the Fox from their official programme but still sell the parts on ebay.

I've got vw fox 1,2 and i'd like tuning it. I only bought BMC air filter XD. ...

I paid about 600 euros for the coilovers.

Symply type in : "VW Fox Weitec" on the ebay page (works with the Italian ebay page as well).

Unfortunately ABT doesent ship to Italy, so you probably cant get the exhaust.

In the website of ABT I saw there is a Italy partener near Stravino( Trento), so I thought, they could send me what i want.

What I've to ask to ABT, for getting exhaust for my Fox?

About 180 €, there is only this exhaust for the Fox so theres not much ask.

how do you change the back box on a fox? ive looked at mine and it seems like its a straight pipe?

Not sure if you mean the muffler with "back box" but to change it you need to cut the pipe. Usually its described in the manual of the new one.

This car is never a VW FOX....I drive a VW GTI V and a VW FOX

at the GTI the exhaust looks like yours...sounds like yours....the doors closingsound is like the GTI.....the Rimes and Tyres look like GTI Tyres and Rimes AND the car is to big for aFOX
