  • wait I thought that the percussion rifle wasnt made ntil the civil war

  • @ChromeGhost0219 no it was made as early as the 1820's

  • I swear by my 1853 Enfield even if it is only an Italian repro. Great series of videos.

  • Ah the good old 1853 Enfield. I love mine its such a great musket.

  • ...As for the weaponry it is very in depth and accurat - from what my colleagues tell me, as I specialize in swords and duleing sheilds I can not realy comment. I must apologise for this long reply.

  • ...due to the lack of English speaking natives. This can be seen in the Treaty of Waitangi were the Maori were led to beleive that they would reign their land and allow the British to live on it when in fact the complete opposite happened and the British claimed a land for their own...

  • ...I also noticed the little dig at the Americas for not joining the empire. Maybe that was due to the fact that they wanted there own land. You also make a comment about how the Empire was of 40% of the world's landmass - you must remember that the vast majority of the Empire was stolen from its inhabitants...

  • A well made documentary. A few obersevations: To me you seem to have an imperial view of history. I get this by you talking about the British Empire from 1600 then a jump to 1757 missing the parlamentarian battles with the royalists and the covenanters, for example Rullion Green in 1666.

  • Very good show ol' chap - but what did he say about America? lol
