The source of agricultural corruption is the food cartel, ADM, Cargill, Conagra, etc.

They purposely lie to farmers telling them oversupply causes poor prices. This his how they fix prices below that of production. Farmer's children don't want to farm, they see their father working 16 hour days for less than half of minimun wage. Blaming technology is suicide for the human race and outright Satanic. Those that run this planet hate techology, they envision for us a new world order of surfdom.

It's odd, isn't it. Even with all the labour-saving new technology - automated factories and computers - and women now having virtually doubled the work force, we are working not shorter hours but longer and more productive hours, grinding ourselves into the ground 'multi-tasking' and 'working under pressure' just to earn a living. What is even odder is that nobody ever asks why?

Agriculture is a problem too!! It means culture based on soil. There's already millions of microscopic and visible lives culturing the soil and we're stealing and ruining their culture!!! And we're eating them too! the plants. This battle agriculture vs tech is causing conflict. we have a culture based on food gastroculture. it's gastroculture suffering at the hands on a mining culture! think about it, everyone just works so hard to get food, we have a gastroculture serving a mining culture!

Although I understand the concerns of the author, this video is very naive. Even agriculture is technology, wooden tools are technology, baking bread is biotechnology! Technology is not good or evil by itself. Greed derived from ignorance is the root of evil. Technology only exponentiates the power of human greed, but a good heart and mind can use the same technology to do amazing good.

If you want to make an argument, make it a little bit more thoughtfully than Terminator clips versus nature shots. Obviously there are problems with the way technologies are used, but this video is pointless. You put a whole lot of time and effort into a really thoughtless argument for what would otherwise be a good point.

I have a frequency generator that can do a lot of things. Using 5-10 volts at below 500 kHz it will kill all pathogens in my body. With 12 volts at 42.7 kHz and electrodes, I can cheaply produce huge amounts of hydrogen gas from water. Now is it bad to rid my body of disease or make my own fuel? Is the machine to blame if I use the hydrogen to blow up a bunch of gophers in their tunnels which isn't very nice but tons of fun? Wait. I don't want the blame. Never mind.

Are you kidding? Technology and agriculture aren't rivals, they're inseperable. Where would agriculture be if we didn't have the technology to destroy those pesky rainforests, or mutate those insects so they can't breed, or exterminate the predators that occasionally eat our livestock? We'd actually have to give up our feud with nature and...sorry, I'm ranting.
