Very hard work for Blake and the conductor, who also did an excellent job. Who was the conductor, anybody know? Beautiful relationship, this is the kind of professionalism and excellence one hardly gets. Blake transcends his voice. He sings intelligently, wholeheartedly and opens himself to his audience beautifully. A true master indeed, so the conductor. What orchestra? Also, excellent. Tahnks coloratura for post!

Le MUST assoluto de Rockwell Blake : dire qu'avant lui, les ténors ne chantaient pas cet air ! Depuis, ils essaient et y arrivent parfois très bien mais pour l'art de la vocalise personne n'égale Rockwell, l'égal de Marylin Horne au panthéon rossinien !

Yes, his voice is a bit like Roquefort, but then so is Callas, Tebaldi, Price...the list is endless. They are all special in their own way and we are so lucky to have experienced their gift and hard work to master their art. Technique, though, he is second to none!!!!
