Thanks for the comment. The ending is indeed sad it has this kind of sad alone space tune that is awesome. Japanese sound creators were masters by fitting tunes into games. Personally i loved the Nes so much more than the Snes. I mean i even enjoyed the 8 bit music more.
So did I. And I still loving all of The Guardian Legend music themes. Sometimes I think about how they could make such a beautiful music using only six digital instruments (or even four when reserving one for the sound effects). It's unbeliavable! And it was in 1988, 22 years ago! I can't even imagine it. The Japanese are incredibly masterful game and particularly music makers.
Tottaly so many nes tunes are so melted in my ears and mind. The most expensive catridge that i bought was 24,3 dollars back then. The damn controllers kept always braking i mean the grey gummy parts in them so we always bought new ones. And i play with some friends Track and Field with beers even today.
Yeah, the flashes are very useful against bosses, especially for those who uses small weapons (I mean bosses like Optomons. Sure I understand that their beams can not be destroyed, but you can get some 'medkits'). But unfortunately, when I had understood it I spent a lot of them for primary bosses. And the final boss was very difficult for me, despite I played using NES emulator and could make a save when I wanted.
I did one of this game, well it´s not a speedrun more of a playthrough. I finished the game without taking any damage, but that is for entertainment only, not to compete with others.
YOU ARE THE GREATEST PLAYER

One of my absolute favorite nes games!
You did really good, only used your normal weapon and enemy erasers.

Definitely one of the best NES games. I bought this when it first came out and played it over and over.
