I Played bass Guitar for Billy Joe back in the 60's when he had a hit with Down In The Boondocks.

I went to high school with Billy Joe--we were

privileged to hear a great concert almost

every Friday and Saturday at Varner's

drive-in parking lot. He is one of the nicest

guys you will ever meet so it has been

wonderful to see his success.
