DId you notice , when shes in the chair , it looks like shes wearing the same fabric as the drapes It looked even closer on tv two nights ago .lol . Good movie .
thank you for posting- Susan Hayward was a gal from Brooklyn who made it in Hollywood- in the early fifties, she, John Wayne and others were making a movie in the desert surrounding Las Vegas-
I've beena Susan Hayward fan for 30 years. However, I am ashamed to say I had never seen this film until I watched it today. I was blown away by how marvelous she is in it. And, it IS tragic that Susan herself died the same way just twelve short years later. And, yes, Michael Craig IS sooo hot. Had a crush on him since I first saw him with Julie Andrews in "Star!" about thirty years ago. We should all have such a handsome doctor attending us! Thanks for posting!
Love this movie, Susan is great in it, Micahel Craig is gorgeous too. It's sad how it ends and how her life ends. It's life imitating art imitating life. Thanks for posting!
It's sadly ironic that Miss Hayward would eventually die some years later of multiple inoperable brain tumors. She was always one of my favorites!

Susan Hayward didn't make a bad movie.
She was a star from the beginning.
I was only 32 when she died and I was upset for days.
She was the only idol I ever had. Magnificient!!
She was blessed with two sons who adored her. Bless her.

Miss Hayward is superb in this remake of the great classic
"Dark Victory"...with a very able Michael Craig as co star.
Miss Hayward's final scenes in particular most moving.
