I took EL AL for the first time I went to Israel, in December 2008 and their Boeing 777 was GREAT! The staff was also good, even on the 747 flight. Food was nice! I would take EL AL again. You can watch the vidoes I filmed of my flight on my page!

Listen ELAL sucks huge donkey shlong in terms of service, but the BIG reason people fly with ELAL is the great security working on those flight constantly. Cockpit is armour, and on board are special forces on all flights! I am Israeli and live in Israel, as well my wife is a travel agent so I know first hand. Worst flight company I flew with is Sabena (such a bad experience never again)

I flew with EL AL in December 2008 and their in flight staff service is good! The staff were always attentive and friendly!

That's fine, but my wife is a travel agent her in Israel who flies at least 6 times a year and she will not fly ELAL. She also gets tons of complaints from people. Like I said ELAL sucks, but people fly with them only because of the great security they have. I also hate flying ELAL because of all the behemot israeli who fight over newspapaers. I realize I got -5*'s but I tell the truth so I don't give a crap..

I have nothing against them. If they were good I would be proud to say so, but they aren't. My sister worked in ELAL, for 2 years till the end of sept 2008, and my friend used to be a flight attendant for 8 years, the both said elal sucks..

Well I like EL AL and had a good flying experience with the staff. Their Boeing 777 rocks. EL AL and Singapore Airlines are my two top favourite airline. Maybe you're not telling the truth and just someone who dislikes Israel. :)

i fly in that airplaine from tlv to hong kong and the airplaine broke in uzbekistan for 10 hours, no hotel and nothing sucks EL AL.

i flew with many diffrent airlines, and i must say EL AL is a TOP NOTCH airlines

and i don't mind paying a bit more to have a great flight, well worth it

For a half-day flight, comfort is important! Cheaper is not always better. El Al is definitely a good carrier and is the preferred way to fly to and from Israel!
