This video is overromantic. It is promoting a sort of camino 'politcal correctness. . Be more balanced. It is NOT extraordinary to walk from Leon or Sarria, it is ORDINARY. In summer months camino is like a pissoir, stinking, overcrowded. A lot of not nice people, often drunk in private albuerges, selfcentered individuals walking in illusions about themselves. Walking this camnio can be boring, painful, many giving up after some days,

@lungarius you probably chose the worst date to do it. Try walking it in October, and the video will be just perfect to describe what it feels to walk the Camino. Of course it gets boring and painful, but it's there is a secret behind the pain and boredom, and it's when you don't stop walking no matter what, that you discover what it is.

@thdqvqtq No, I am sorry. Its not about walking the wrong part of the year. Not at all. I have walked different caminos, in spain and in norway and through most of the months of the year. So it is not about that! It is only this stupid 'camino correctness' thing that is a lie. There are a lot of people having a totally other experience. People who finish walking after some days, who experience no magic and only ordinary things and pains, and still enjoy it and find it an important experience.

@lungarius It is a magic, that every person has his/her own experiences. Besides we cannot see the change of a persons head, only their action. An example... I have met a Spanish man, we became friends, as we arrived on the square in Santiago he cried. I never thought he would.

I saw hospitaleros helping perigrinos, without expecting gratitude. If I want to get help here, I have to draw my health security card first.

I walked the Camino from Le Puy, France to Finisterre, Spain in 2007.

What could I say...overwhelming.

I thought it would be a lonely walk of penance, but turned out that I was meeting so many people and experiencing so much things I didn't anticipate.

try the Gite d'etape L'Etoile Occitane in Lectoure when you restart the journey (or have you already stayed there?). The lady that runs the place is cool (speaks English and Spanish as well).

This video was the one that force me going through all that. The complete camino frances...800km...last summer.

It changed a lot in my mind.. and it still causes tears when i listen to it and remember that time..! A part of my heart is still on the camino.. and it will wandering forever there!

i did this in 2007 and it was easily the greatest expercinace of my life.never in my life and never again in my life i fear will i ever experciance the emtional togetheriness i felt in my 10 days in spain.anyone watching this who has not done it,i seriously recommand it as it will change your life.the hardship is really worth it as once you lay eyes on that cathdral you will experciance the strongest emtions you will ever feel

i have been there last year. i was travelled with my friend and wheelbarrow named Dunkey. it was extraordinary.

now i know why i live for.

we have many lecture abought Camino in our country now.

now i am learning english, italian and spnish language.

i believe in God, i believe in life, i believe in ewerything.

there are many reasons for visit spain and travel on Camino. the great Camino of life.
