I like it, that's kinda what I expect from a dematerializing. I like how you show it fade transparent then comes back half transparent here and there until it's completely gone. That's what I want to try with my 3D tardis!
@SCRebelMetalHead1 It's not about the simple fading, it's about the pasting of a simple image without the light flashing or anything. Those who just paste a picture and mistake the landing and takeoff sounds.
The TARDIS usually fades in and out, at least in the new Doctor Who seasons, like here ( youtube.com/watch?v=FhK_hWNoir4 )
I know before the new series it was a simple fade in/out (youtube.com/watch?v=V3qE3y6ilu0), but most people have just seen the new series.
@SCRebelMetalHead1 Meh, the links aren't working, but the first one can be found with "Give the TARDIS a Break"(the one with the current fade in/out) and the second with the original single fade in/out from the movies and the old series.
@ShadowxofxDesolation: XD I know what you mean about people basically not having a clue what they're doing. Perfectionism is a stubborn streak in me, however, and making mistakes like those you mentioned would be absolutely unacceptable to me. :P
@ShadowxofxDesolation: It's the light! In the new series, it's the flashing of the light during de/rematerialization that makes it look like the external body of the TARDIS is fading in and out, because the light is passing THROUGH the partially materialized body and reflecting off of it!

That's because it IS a simple fade. Sorry to burst your bubble, but perhaps you should try paying attention the next time you watch Doctor Who.
