@BrittaneyLSchultz The venus project is a nice dream but it has ALOT of flaws. Automation is great but you will always have to employ technicians to design, install, program and maintian the systems. So many tasks in service industries would be incredibly difficult to automate. It would be very difficult for a society to function in which people get to just do whatever and be taken care of while others do the boring stuff that nobody wants to do but needs done. That leads back to needing money.
